I'm super tired. I'll introduce myself tomorrow. Had to make another trip to go pick up the maxima.

Congrats and enjoy Mike, you've been waiting a while!
Welcome aboard gqpenguin, love to hear what your plans are (it doesn't sound like you like to leave things stock
) and what your impressions are coming from tuned M3's!

lol Ed welcome to my kneck of the woods man! you should make a new thread introducing yourself and your background IMO. yea i actually picked up the E63 today. definitely miss that "in control" feeling of the c55. E63 isn't exactly the driver's car allll the time like the C55. only when you want it to be, it turns into a monster.
thanks guys. yea make the new owner feel at home, because i don't think the e46 m3 boards will do the same when they found out what he got
the E63 will not be my DD like the C55 sort of was. i'll probably drive it like 3 days a week.

Oh nice, why though? Don't want to rack up miles on the E63? It does make it more special though to drive the E63.Originally Posted by michael kuzni

Haha yeah thats true. Well im glad he made the right decision of favoring the c55 over the e46. Its an all-around, better built car. These things are almost bulletproof! Im sure the new owner will have a great experience with this car.Originally Posted by michael kuzni

No, I think you must have misread. The new owner has a supercharged E46 M3 and just picked up the C55. I believe he has an E9X M3 as well if I'm not mistaken.Originally Posted by mshields818

Oh wow, youre right, i misunderstood this. I thought that he sold his m3 to get the c55 as a replacement. Now that i know its vf engineering supercharged, i totally understand why he wouldnt let go of that. Those two cars make for a killer duo!Originally Posted by AMG3.2

Hey Guys!
Sorry for the late introduction. I picked up the car about a week ago from Mike. I actually sold my E46(VF-supercharged) AND E92 M3 to fund the lady's medical school.
She owes me a GTR once she graduates.
I do have to say, the c55 is a blast to drive around town and I really like it. The m3's are more precise and have a little more top end power, but around town I'm really digging the 55's torque.
The M3 forum members dont like me anymore.
Here is a list of cars that I have owned.
95 honda accord v6
98 Honda Prelude SH (crap)
2001 Integra Type R (awesome, was stolen)
2003 is300
93 rx-7 R1
E46 M3 VF-supercharged stage 2
E92 M3 stock
1995 E36 M3
2004 Honda S2000 AP2
2006 Evo IX
Nice to meet everyone! Anyone have questions about these cars feel free to ask. I still don't get how Mike kept his car so clean.
Thanks, Ed

I'm already thinking about getting some coilover's and possibly a custom exhaust. I'm not going to go too crazy on this one I think.
The week before I sold the car, a pulley broke off, hit the oil cooler lines and almost left me stranded on the freeway. I limped it home since I was only about 5 minutes away. The car then decided to bleed out the 10-w60 oil (castrol tws $14 qt) all over my garage that I had just changed a few months ago.
That was the sign for me to fix the car and then sell it.

Headers and a tune will solve that problem. I have kleemann headers and tune on mine and It's pretty much on full torque all the way to redline now.Originally Posted by gqpenguin

Funny you asked this because I was as clueless as you when I first drove home my C55, stopping at a gas station. Originally Posted by Eagles around

It doesn't have any switches inside the cabin. You just push the left side of the cover to open it. I always wondered about this design since any jerk who's familiar with it can dump sugar on your tank anytime.

If car is locked that gas tank cover will not open..
