Wow you wonder how this forum has any members. Admittedly the OP did not read that sticky and the threads could be a LOT better, I fully agree, but who would want to stay after these sorts of comments. We were all noobs once.... cut the guy some slack.

Haha no problem. Guys usually give newbies crap for some reason. Anyways, drive it a bit and see what happens. Every time I disconnect my battery, I get the SRS light as well. It always goes away after some driving. See what happens and let us know.

Jason 1432 in this forum there is a couple of threads for this. In short from what I quickly looked over; due to it being a saftey warning its a star reset (dealer or indie with star system) to delete it from the display panel.

So far I didn't see you being helpful on the subject of the OP's questions. OP is from New York. He should be used to this. I'm sure if he needs a lawyer, he will call you. Was my post helpful, no. It wasn't blatantly unhelpful either. I was exaggerating with my forum comment, obviously no offense was intended. I have been part of a few car forums.
