2003 C32 AMG
Let me introduce myself
I just recently purchased a 2003 mercedes C32 as my daily driver to replace my boxster that spontaneously combusted. I have been a major player in the auto aftermarket in the past, but in the last 5 years I have sat back quietly.
I have an extensive background in custom turbocharger systems, as well as supercharger systems.
Some of my previous cars are as follows:
1966 Ford F100 pro street (460ci Nitrous motor)
1994 Eclipse GSX (ran high 11's in the mid/late 90's)
1996 Eclipse GSX (Ran solid mid 11's)
1991 Nissan Sentra SER (Pulsar GTiR swap, stroker, gt30r)
1995 Mustang GTS (8.60 1/4 mile front and back halfed, turbo 427)
2001 Mitsubishi Evolution (stroker/Ohlins/fun fun)
1997 Nissan 240sx (rb26dett swap)
2004 Ferrari 360 Modena
1995 Nissan Skyline GTR (twin gt28rs (disco potatoes))
2001 BMW 330ci (Dinan everything)
1996 Land Rover Defender
2003 BMW M3 (road race, moton suspension)
1997 BMW 318ti (s52 swap/kw v3/porsche brake upgrade)
1995 BMW 850i (rare six speed)
1989 Porsche 944 turbo
1994 BMW 540i (manual)
1988 BMW M3 (s52/ s50 intake/ turbo)
2003 Land Rover discoII
2006 HONDA Odyssey touring
2008 HONDA accord V6 (grey)
2008 Honda Accord V6 (light green)
2006 Honda Civic ex (lemon lawed)
2001 Honda Civic (k24 swap)
2003 Saab 9-3 vector ( stage 2 software/downpipe/exhaust)
1999 Porsche Boxster (header/exhaust/intake/software)
I love cars, and have been a strong contributor to most of the forums I have been on. I hope that I can do the same here. I will try and post pictures of the C32 when I am not at work.
I hope that I can maybe answer some questions as well.

It was a stupid decision that I made. I loved it, and it served its purpose. At that time in my life I was more concerned with what people thought of me. I would just drive it around the local cruising spots. Typical of a 23 year old. if I knew then what i knew now I would have never had it. It was reliable. I never had any issues. I didn't track it or anything though.
As for the C32, it is a great car. I love how it is not dramatic with its speed.
I have had cars over the years that were brutal to drive. Cars that made so much noise it made you sick to drive them anywhere.
I for the first time am enjoying an automatic. I drive 108 miles a day to work so its nice to just listen to the radio and drive.
The design of the C32 is very good. I love the subtle hints to its uniqueness without being a "boy racer". I am glad it doesn't have 19" rims and 1" of ground clearance. No large spoilers, or out of the ordinary noises. It quite simply is a sleeper to the fullest extent.
Someone mentioned the E30 M3. That was a car that I wanted for a long time, and after I got it, I realized that its legend was just that. The car was simply amazing in the late 80's. it was a pure driving machine "then". But 20 years later it was just a good car. The rawness of the car was almost too raw like if an egg is under cooked. It handled almost amazingly, and accelerated OK, and the looks were awesome in that quirky euro-muscle kind of way. the original motor had to be beaten with a large stick to return its "legendary" rewards, and then if you mess up, you are left with a large chunk of scrap metal (the motor). I do miss that car, but I spent a small fortune trying to keep the car how it came from the factory, and realized it just wasn't that good anymore in comparison to what was available today.
The Defender was what it was. A big heavy truck that could take a beating, but cost to much for anyone in their right mind to give it one. I will always love land rovers, I just do.
Now to the R33 GTR. I remember the day I paid for it in cash was one of the most exciting days ever, but almost 3 years later when I finally got to drive it and gain possesion was almost bitter sweet. It was much like the e30 m3. There was so much legend to the car that i dont believe it could have ever lived up to it. It would launch from a standstill at a rate that was astounding, and it cornered with the best of the, but if you drove through dust one time the wheel sensors would get dirty and the awd would go out. After about 3 launches you needed a new clutch. Last of all, every kid with his hat on sideways and pants around his knees would swarm you. I would get followed by Honda-boys like I was the piper. I do miss it though.
If you really want to know what one of my favorite cars was...???...
The 1991 Nissan Sentra SER!!!
It was like the e30 m3's ******* child. It was boxy, had no extra fluff, and handled and went like stink. It wasn't a drag car, but was decent. It wasn't a road race car, but handled decent. But through a few mods at it and it was out of its class, and messing with the big boys. Put a turbo motor in it from a GTiR and some mods from JWT and it was as reliable as stock with 300++ hp. Get some lowering springs and some Koni's and it took the turns like a pro. This in my mind was one of the most under rated cars of all time. I really really miss that one.
I hope I haven't bored anyone with my ramblings.
I will try to post up some pics, i guess I have to get a photo-hosting membership.

I may have been on supra forums a while back, but not now. I have made quite a few turbo kits for supra guys.
As for how I like the C...
I love it so far. Its fast and comfortable. I would like to do some mods, but dont have to to enjoy the car.

I keep wanting to post some pictures up, bu havnt had the time. Right now I am sitting in an airport waiting to fly to Dallas. I will fly back on sat nite, then have church sunday then to a corporate event for the next week. Then back for a day and off again to raleigh for a small government convention. I hate traveling, especially with my wife having to stay home with the 3 kiddos.
Been looking at the intake, and might have a go of making a new one whenever time permits.
