C32 great news duel intake
wow does this thing look great and boy does it work,, I think the flow is actually going to flow more than Rob"s srt6 duel. , you see we have had this configuration on my crossfire E55 V8 for a while now,,Rob had made a few small changes to fit the the C32 ,so very soon he should have a duel intake for the three V8 crossfires, and the Mercedes 55 V8's,, but for now the duel for the C32 is looking great,, after the flow test and a few days of testing on cars (about 4 cars are being tested,) , i will post pictures. jim

any info on price and power? i'm curious how it would affect a car with with maxed out mods (181/185 pulley, headers, tune, etc) since (i must have posted something similar to this in another thread about this intake) at that point, the fuel is supposedly a bottleneck and either the pump or injectors (cannot recollect) need to be upgraded

I hear you. I've seen you say this before. That's why I'm not in a rush to just start installing parts. That said, 5-6 hp diff on the same dyno is not bad. Woudln't worry too much about it. With your numbers being high to begin with on this dyno, 1%-1.5% can be attributed to all kinds of little things that could have changed since the original dyno run. I think that in order to properly bring more air with NW new intake, the rest of the intake and fuel delivery system needs to be revamped. Including a re-tune. An 80mm TB is part of that. What injectos are you using?

With maxed out mods an intake is expected to increase power even more so than on a stock engine. In theory the intake system is more of a bottleneck and held back even more on a modified engine as compared with stock. Unless there is something very strange about the c32 as compared with all other cars I cannot imagine why this would be less of a benefit to those with mods.
Throttle body changes ofter little to forced induced engines unless they are tiny. With roots superchargers you can even go back in power if the airflow path is changed going into the supercharger. The air will not always go in evenly if it has the choice and one rotor may receive much more than 50% of the air. I am not sure how it compares with twin screw.
Can anyone tell me the stock throttle body size just for interest?

I don't think it's that easy. For the formula that I know you would need Injector Pulse Width and the Dead Time.
