My New Project
#126
i ended up with the following fuel setup: stock fuel lines, stock filter/pressure regulator, looped fuel rail, gauge sensor on the rail, Bosch 044 pump in tank instead of the 2 stock pumps, the pressure is at 67 psi stable all gears all around the rpm, this set up is working for me.

Thats amazing, basically 500rwhp, congratulations on the hard work. I have to ask though, how feasible is it going to be to put all this power down on the road?

This type of dyno read wheel hp high but it read crank hp 100% right, i put on it many stock cars with 100% crank nbs. so if you look below on the graph you can see engine hp=552hp and torque= 546 ft/lb so realy it's not 500whp if you want to compare with US dynos, i think we can say it's 552/1.18= 467 WHP and 546/1.18=463 Wtq. next with 180 pulley i think i'll be in real 500whp/600crank hp.

Wow, that's very impressive. I'm glad you finally got everything done. Hopefully you'll be at 500whp once you swap pulleys. Why don't you try doing the smaller super charger pulley instead?

Its still 100% awsome even if you are not quite at 500rwhp. How much boost was the above dyno at? What boost are you looking at in the end?

can't put power on ground. how it will be with 180mm pulley?
sorry for bad video but it's with my phone using my second hand, video only for watching ESP cutting.

Maybe a quaife differential and drag radials would help.
Here's a thread with good info: https://mbworld.org/forums/clk55-amg...rsion-kit.html

Oh no, I was thinking this might happen. I agree, you definitely need the quaife if you don't have one. Otherwise the wheel tyre combo is the only other option. If it doesn't rain much and if it is legal there you could run straight drag tyres all the time.

i was having a compression problems due to bad crank pulley install and bad used piston rings installed in my engine, i am rebuilding the engine now, the engine was putting 555 crank hp with 2 pistons at 90psi compression and one at 120. (stock pulleys).

How is this monster going?
Wouldnt a 32 supercharger have been easier fit on a 350 engine? (3.7).
My 32 engine is losing mojo (210 thousand kms): considering purchasing a 350 engine and modding with the 32 s/c. A world of pain or worth it?
A c32 engine rebuild and or replace is $6k+. The 350 engine is 2.5k. A similar project seems reasonable as opposed to rebuild/replace.

It would be easier. The 32 supercharger has a smaller volume so would have to spin excessively fast to provide the same boost as the 55 supercharger. It is especially bad since this is a high boost project as well as larger displacement, basically the smaller supercharger would fail, it would be well outside its maximum operating rpm.
I think it should work, but get in touch with eurocharged and make sure they can provide a tune for you since your fuel will be off with the larger displacement. You might then need to dyno it with a wideband to make sure the air:fuel ratios are spot on. The only possible problem is if the 35 pistons (being NA) are not strong enough to deal with boost.
Depends how far you want to go, a full gasket set cannot be too expensive. Do you have a new timing chain already? Then its just a case of honing the bores, replacing the rings, new head gaskets, valve seats and it is almost a new engine. Should be well under $3k.
