4 piston rear brake options?

Are there any options for running a 4 piston setup in the rear with the stock 17" wheels? I have cooked my rear brakes on a track day - Road Atlanta - so am looking for an upgrade. Not looking to looking to spend the money for a Brembo setup but hoping that there is an MB option. There are several options if I upgrade to 18" wheels but like to be able to keep my 17" for track days. Have a great set of R compounds already.

Just saw the 6/4 piston setup in person for the first time today...Black '05 CLK55 with a half-flat tire lol. I was amazed how huge they actually are in person. Good info/Part #s here...

All great options I am happy to investigate but can we confirm they will fit under a 17" wheel? That is my main driver at this point

As i know, the only rear AMG "4"- pot direct bolt on from "CLK63 & SLK55", and it well fit with 17 wheels, of course depend of what off-set # you

have.......

ZAYED,,

Stock AMG wheels will be converted to track day duty. They are looking beat up from daily use.

are you planning on keeping stock up front or doing a complete swap to the 6/4 set up?

A 17" wheel should fit over the rear SLK55/CLK63 4 piston caliper setup, but it will NOT fit over the front 6 piston setup. If you're going to Road Atlanta though, I would recommend going with the full setup front and rear. I was very happy with the performance when I went.

I have an SLK32 and am upgrading the front brakes to the C32 calipers and Racing Brake 2 piece rotors.

if your doing the c32 setup with 340 r/b rotors the 17" will work but i havent found any 17's that will clear the rears 4 piston setup. im waiting on a followup with a guy who has a c63 that said he found 17's that would clear.
