greetingz,
Does anyone abroad want to do me a favor and call their dealer to find out? My local dealer can only give me the U.S. part number.

This might help,
I ordered them from Lorinser(CEC), and only found OE MB label on the package w/ part#, kinda feel cheated......anyway, here it is:
A 203 885 6121 9744
I guess 9744 is the code for body color, mine is brillant silver which is code#744.

Thanks! Do you know if that is the part number for the right or left strip? I think there is a part number for each. I appreciate it a lot! Wish I could return the favor.

Out Of Control!!
As a vendor, when we sell Lorinser items, we do the honorable thing and purchase them through Lorinser. Our prices on Lorinser impact strips are actually discounted from retail. Lorinser also has an $80 flat hood emblem which is also Mercedes part. If a customer wants it from Lorinser, than we order them through Lorinser. If they want the Mercedes part, we can do it for less!
Thanks,
Ben

Justin,
When I picked up the part, both left and right came in one Package, and that label is on top of it, so I assume that when you order, it comes in a pair. But on the Right (passenger) side, the tow hook cover is not included which you'll have to pull out from your US version.
one more suggestion: before you install, use high-temp black tape to cover those 2 holes for side markers, otherwise even after you put on Euro strips to cover them, some light still will come out from the edge of strips which make it weird and ugly.
$150 is what I paid for a pair, I remember some shop near SD once offered $100 painted, but I forgot their name.........., try steve or Harris tho.....

I fished around and it turns out that was just for one. I found out that they are:
A 203 885 6121 9040 //left front
A 203 885 6221 9040 //right front
for black. Just to verify with you Adi, these were for non-parktronic bumpers? Additionally, they have the chrome on them?
I just want to make sure there are no long term problems either, with the bulb just sitting there behind the strip.

Justin,
Yes, those are for Non-Parktronic bumper w/ chrome insert. They have been on my car for almost 2 yrs, so far no problem at all. But I do remember someone on the other board report burn or melting on those strips, that's why I decided to tuck bulbs into bumper and cover high-temp black tapes before I put Euro strips on. in addition, without doing that, some light will come out from the edge, noticeable during night time, you'll see. But maybe you are OK w/ it, sometimes I just care the appearance more than performance :-)

Perhaps no one else has covered them with the hi-temperature tape like you have? I'm still on the fence now. I don't want the trouble, but I do enjoy the looks. I wish someone out there knew where I could get some appropriate resistors.
