a car that can't do the throttle reset.
*terrible thread by pointman: help! I got too many pounds!
and now that I got all of your attention since you are all concerned with my health and my elevated BMI... no, this isn't about my weight. its about tire pressure! Door jamb suggestions 32 front, 36 rear when cold. I follow that and I get tires that wear more in the middles!
I did a good search like a good noob, but all I came up with is stuff like
"hey, I just got 22's on my C32. What pressure should I..."
"I am going drifting tomorrow against some ricers, what is my best bet pressure..."
"I just bought a four owner C32 and I ran 19 psi in my accord, what should I rock in my new AMG?"
Help!

I run about 30PSI (for air, about 33PSI for nitrogen) all the way around. 36PSI is way to high (as you know since you're wearing out the middle of your tires). I wore out the middle of my Pirelli's and I changed when I replaced the rears with the first set of Michelin's and they looked good and my Pilot Super Sports are evenly worn front and rear.

Recommeded pressures on my '06 are 33/37 so 40 isn't that much of a stretch. Tire wear across the tread has been even on the last four sets of rears.
Same pressure up front takes out some of the under steer that manufacturers dial in as it's "safer" to hit a tree with your front end instead of the rear end.

my tires wear out too fast with the recommended pressure, so I run 29 psi. everyone says , "oh no that's too low!" but I have 163,000 miles and get 30-40k out of a set of rear tires. more out of the fronts.

Asking people what they run is a good start, but to determine the correct pressure for your car "I think" this is a better approach - http://www.marcusfitzhugh.com/CLK/DIY/tirepressure.html
