Exclamation Please help with s/c service

Ok, so "somewhat successfully" swapped sc oil last night. Out came about 20-30 cc of dark, stinky crap and in went about 100+ cc of Mobil Jet from the can. Easy as pie. Then I dropped the plug. My wife actually was able to find it lodged in the crank pulley and got it...long story short, it got later, darker, more beer...I dropped it again. This time I have no clue where it went. Does anyone have the Part# for the plug? I searched all over with no success.

Don't you hate when a good plan goes wrong?

Thanks boys.

Buy a new supercharger)))

Seriously, there is no PN for the plug.
Try to find some NPT threaded plug or do a better search and find the one you dropped.

Some people just don't know how to hold their liquor. This would never happen in Russia.
If it helps, the plug takes a 5mm Allen wrench. The plug must be around 7mm, which is close to 1/4 inch.

the bigger issue is with a syringe and a 1/4 " diameter tube you should be able to pull approx 130 cc of fluid OUT of the s/c. i was able to pull 150cc out of mine and replace it with the same. for now you have more than double inside the s/c. not sure if thats good or bad

Trust me, I drained her dry. After pulling all the old crap out, I jacked up the rear end and let the rest seap onto a towel. Was it exactly 30 cc, I don't know (1/2 a small Gatorade bottle). With spillage, give or take 25 cc. In any event, I drained it, then jacked up front end and filled until overflow. And, yes, I just went into the garage and checked my syringe and its top mark is 140 cc. I was using estimates and/or approximates as my true concern was obviously the gun shot wound to my sc caused by the missing plug.

In any event, I found it lodged behind the crank pulley. It took about 30 mins to find. I spent more time calling around for a replacement which essentially do ot exist.

Thanks, for the input. All runs well.

TIP of the Day - a sliver of butyle (black tire plug crap) on the tip of 5 mm hex head, will prevent my dilemma.

PS - I even spoke with an old MB tech who indicated that they didn't even bother performing the service.

So what's the final conclusion to changing the oil in the s/c? Should it be done or not? I've just recently been finding people that have been doing it, so i'm assuming there are other high milege cars (100k+) that have been ok without performing the service.

I changed mine but removed the supercharger for that. I am not looking for easy solutions)))
I've put SC vertically and milked about 150cc of what used to be oil. After that laid it horizontally and injected about the same amount of new oil, spud SC for a few minutes an drained it again and finally pumped about 200cc again and let it drain horizontaly so the oil would level with the filling port.
Does the Mercedes have this procedure? - No, there is no single word about that in WIS
Would I recommend to do it? Definitely yes! My car has just over 100k miles and I was horrified by the oil condition.

The worst is dropping a contact lens in the bathroom ( for those that know ) they will stick to the weirdest places and are nearly impossible to spot. But with respect to that plug, it's gotta be one of the smallest parts of that engine. It was lodged up inside the backside of the crank pulley in a little crevice.

SC Oil replaced at about 170k kms (100k miles) and at 188k kms no issues. Its funky oil that comes out that is for sure. Easy one for piece of mind and besides you get a nice can of Jet Oil in the garage.
