Question about front sway bar to strut link
I had the car on the lift today. Did the control arms and intended to do front front sway bay to strut link because bushings are shot and they look to be a bit twisted. Got part no 203 320 28 89 as indicated by all the online Mercedes parts distributors (pelican parts). The parts I received are the correct part number but clearly aren't the same as what I pulled off the car. For starters the mounting bolt is clearly a smaller diameter (not by much but noticeable ) and the bushings look different. I ordered OEM parts, I confirmed part numbers, what am I missing here?

For my 2002 C32 VIN# out of MB EPC it is A203 320 21 89 that was replaced by A203 320 26 89. A203 320 28 89 is for code 486 (sports suspension)

Got them. Fit like a glove. New control arms, sway bar bushing, strut to sway links and the car handles like new. Understeer gone. Creaks, squeaks, thumps gone. I gotta imagine that every C32 driven anything more than grandmother style with over 50 k needs the rehab.

Hi, link (or anyone else who can answer),
I ordered end bar links as well (non OEM) and the part number they listed on it is 203-320-26-89...which according to dealer should work (I spoke to them on the phone)...although they did indicate these were replaced with a 203-320-29-89.
My issue is too is that the end links I have also have mounting bolts with a smaller diameter. Did your final used end link bolts match what was on the car?

FYI for anyone dealing with this themselves, I did end up buying some OEM end links from parts.com and upon receipt I can see they in fact do have thicker putting nuts/bolts. Further they in general look much beefier than the ones I purchased on Ebay that were directly marketed as a C32 sway bar end link.

If I had to guess, the C32 is using the same, larger diameter bolt as the C55. The regular w203 uses 10mm end link and the AMG uses 12mm end link. I noticed for my C55 the only difference in part number is 203-320-29-89. RM European is reflecting the part # you showed and a different one for C55. I think it should probably have the C55 part #?

203-320-29-89 is available for both C32 and C55. It is listed as the one with "front M12" vs "front M10" for 203-320-28-89. These end links are chassis specific and should match your torsion bar. But I think that if your torsion bar has smaller holes, just use a drill and make them larger.

Agreed. The links are the same for all w203, only difference being the 10mm and 12mm. I think what Lenin says is right, you could just make the holes on the sway bar bigger by drilling them out.
I remember when I did my links, the holes on the sway bar itself aren't exactly the size of the bolt since the bushing actually sits in there when you tighten them down. Otherwise it would be squeaky as s***. Basically what I'm trying to say is you don't have to worry about perfectly drilling a hole the size of the bolt.
