Question Look what I found in my engine bay....
I was looking around the engine bay and tried to feel around for the wires that lead into the impact strip and felt something loose..so i pulled it out...a 12inx1in peice of wood! tucked down in under washer bottle!!! WTF ....only thing i can think of was before i picked up the car the mechanics were using it for whatever and forgot about it

i tucked it back in to show where it is - but it was farther in than that

Feeling around the washer bottle - finally going to start modding that puppy. With all the posts you make about which is the best pulley/chip/intake I thought that thing would have twin turbo's by now.

well i just put in bmc filters and paid $125 for labor to install that ..jk! i've got the lighted amg door sills and sl55 intake coming in soon and then the pulley/chip

ah i had them ordered a while back ..how about some euro impact strips? (brilliant silver)

Yup, I have them. But are you sure you want to put that? Have you figured out a way to deal with the side marker bulbs? I had installed the Euro strips for a couple of weeks last year and the bulb blown and got "melted".
