06 C55. Auto climate control drama

I usually leave the AC in auto mode and starting to get annoyed by the ridiculous noise and drama it makes for first 5-10 minutes of driving. The AC blower fan blasts needlessly harshly and the radiator eFan starts whining real loud. Especially if its a summer day and the car has been sitting outside even for a little bit, it goes nuts.

There should be a more civilized way for the auto climate control to work its thing? Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

I don't leave it in full auto mode. Auto mode works that way in my Trailblazer, too. I rarely turn the blower speed above two or three.

ya its in auto because it's going to full blast cold to get the temp from ambient HOT AS ***** to whatever you have it set too...it's just like if you put it in MAX cold it would do the same...the difference is that once your interior begins to come close to the AUTO temp you have set the fan will back off and the temp of the air coming out will start to increase as necessary to maintain the temp you set!

It's normal, and I frankly appreicate it, because it will cool/heat the car down as fast as possible. As mentioned above, it will automatically switch to lower fan levels once the temperature is close to what you have set it to.

hmm... I think I already know well that it reduces fan speed once it gets close to desired/set temperature. That is obvious and common sense.

I was asking if there was a way to make it act in a more civilized way, but guess the answer is no.

Such as not try to blast the AC so high that it's hard to have a conversation. It would be quite OK for the climate control to cool/heat the car to desired temperature in 5 minutes as opposed to 3 minutes (just as an example).

Thanks for the thoughts/feedback guys,
