MY first baseline dyno!

they had never dyno'ed a benz before so had a little trouble getting the tach to work...the shop was about 100degrees! and im running a little rich (no fans blasting in front of the car) hopefully ysplitter will help with that a bit) that 241 was him doing it then i said do a 3rd gear pull and all the warnings BAS etc were going off but we didn't need to go into dynomode. only thing the car has is bmc filters and only had time to get in one run! next time a couple runs to get an avg with no cats resonator and ysplitter then comes the pulley/chip =P

roozy, you should dpwnload dynojet's software where you can change settings. It would be neat to compare with a few other C32s.

I'll have mine dynoed in a few months. :P

hey roozy, 3rd gear pull hurts HP numbers, you get maximum HP in 4th (i believe 4th is 1:1). you should get better results in 4ths. also the heat can't be good for HP numbers. try and get another baseline dyno, most places will to 3 runs for $75, but i usually get 3 runs for only $35. anyways congrats on the dyno

BTW i can host the video for you if you want.

You'll be able to change X and Y settings and MPH/RPMs on the bottom. Time vs. HP can also be compared on the graph. Which might not be an accurate indicator of the rate of accleration but if you had two cars in the same gear making noticeably different power curves the difference would be present. A/F sniffer could be used too. But it is tested after the catylitic converter which might not be that accurate.

jcanabal and I are going to dyno in the fall and we'll post and compare.
