I'm glad to be back!
After learning a lot of life lessons the long way I can finally say I'm headed in the right direction. I'm 20 years old and I'm currently attending Nashville Auto Diesel College. I've come along way from my first C32 as far as respect goes and responsibility.
But enough of the sob story. When I moved to nashville in my own place my father gave me his mustang gt. (since the car was in his name he sold it because I didn't treat it correctly.) on New Year's Eve in nashville I hit black ice and ended up sliding into a tree at 55 mph. But to be honest I've never driven in such cold weather with black ice. I grew up in Florida :p my insurance cut me 4800$ for my 2001 gt vert.
I did extensive searching with that money as my top dollar I came across this 2003 C32 AMG. The owner was asking 6500$, it had been on there a while so I decided to just give it a try, on the phone I asked this very nice couple that had been storing it for some time what the lowest they will go and they said 4500$! So since I miss my old car and it would leave me with 300$ I jumped on it.
It's pewter in color and its black in interior.
The mileage is kinda high at 160k, but it runs like 60k.
The car will remain stock for now. I don't have much money left over after rent and electric and all that mess. I'm just going to enjoy it and preserve it for when I have enough money to purchase another daily and maybe build the C32 as an autox beast??
I would love to post pictures but I don't know how to do it on an iPhone, I don't have a computer here...

Welcome back!
I do not know much about the 32 Kompressors but isn't 160K miles a bit high? Did the previous owners keep up the maintenance? You're obviously mechanically inclined so I'm sure you'll be doing a lot of the maintenance on the C32.

Ehh 160 is a bit high, but these motors can sure take it asking as preventative maintnece is done regularly on time.
The previous owner drive it for 50k some miles and and then let it sit for over a year in a cover garage.
I did have to replace the infamous I/C pump. Also some fuses were missing, but now replaced. The only on going issue I'm having is the seat adjustment switches. The back rest function keeps blowing the fuse...

Very cool! There were a couple of 10-11sec diesels at the track when I was going to school in Sac - crazy fast & surprisingly high tech. keep us updated!
