Im looking to buy a set of used C55 Kleemann headers ASAP! Anyone have a set they'd like to get rid of? Or anyone know where I can look to find a set?

I dont know how much youre willing to spend but 995 for brand new headers and downpipes is unbeatable... Used would probably cost you 6-700 anyways, I cant see them getting any cheaper used unless theyre warped or cracked lol

Thanks a lot for your responses! I PM'd X55, hopefully he still has the car and is willing to part with the headers alone.
The $995 deal is very appealing however ill probably need to hold off for a while at that price for right now since I still have to factor in the cost of labor.
However for $6-700 id be all over it in a heartbeat - after labor it would fall right within my budget.
Im gonna think hard about the $995 deal however if any headers pop up on anyones radar please let me know, would really appreciate it!
For clarification: The $995 deal is for long tube headers correct??

Just buy them new from Kleemann. In the 3 years I've had my car, I've only seen one set of C55 headers for sale. The price from Kleemann is the best deal out there for these cars.

The Kleemann headers are also good for more than 30hp on these cars. The stock primary cats are VERY restrictive. 2.5" exhaust front to back will net even more power.

As MBNiko said," the downpipes that bolt on to the headers basically delete the primary cats and act as "long tubes"
And when u find them used for 700$ its better to pay a little more and get them new,ask corry maybe he can give u a little discount,he's a good guy and reply so fast,so ask him,u wont loose anything....GOOD LUCK

I've been told from cory @ kleeman,that since i have tune from jerry @ eurocharged,i can tell jerry when i get those headers and he can write back the file with a little change to get the most out of them,instead of buying another file from kleeman....any suggestion

Yes- Im asking in reference to the 55. I have a c32 that ive owned for 3 years now but picked up a 55 over the summer and im more interested in modifying the 55 than the 32 because i just love that v8!
You're absolutely right, its very difficult to come by a used set of 55 kleemann headers simply because theyre a great mod performance+sound wise and I dont think too many people revert back to stock after such an enjoyable mod. I think i might reach out to cory and hopefully he'll be able to help me out on the price.
From your experiences, how much does it cost to put the headers on and to redo the exhaust with 2.5'' pipes all the way back??
