so i was trying to get to the electromagnetic clutch, I have been getting noise from around that area for a while now to inspect it.

the washer was frozen on for the most part, I tried everything to get it off as gently as possible. but felt it give as i pulled.. one of those metal pieces came off with it. guessing an install error from the previous owner... looked bent from the start

but never the less, one broke off with the pulley and the other is fine. Is this something that can be fixed? or will i have to buy a new blower for this thing...

but its those thin metal things that stick out to hold the washer in place...wish i knew a better term for them...

This does not look good. I would try to drill into the clutch assembly just enough to have a small srew catch on a few threads to replace the broken pin. Proper balance of the shaft would be my concern. The simpler thing to try is to re-aseemble the washer as is (with a broken pin) using the correct torque on the srew and do a test run to see if it will move under WOT.

I would just put it back together as is versus buying a new SC. I doubt those pins serve any purpose.

put it back and tq it right and you should be fine.

I found a used supercharger including the electromagnetic clutch for 600 dollars. I'm in need of one these as well, according to a couple shops I took it too. So figured what the hell, the clutches go for double what I bought everything for

but anyone swap out a supercharger before? been searching around and have not found much so far about it. maybe a step by step if possible? looks fairly straight forward
