Poll: Your avg mpg
shorter stuff/backroads...18/19 mpg
at the track...<10 mpg
I avoid driving this car unless it's enough to get it fully warmed up.Short trips and stop/go driving will not get any fuel
economy rewards.
One stomp on the loud pedal, however, and any mileage issues are left far behind.
dealer can find any probs....
recently i've noticed my gas milage drop from avg of 19mpg to about 15.6mpg testing for about 3000 miles.
How's your mpg compare?
I've been doing more city type driving also.
Let's see what happens as it starts to cool off...
I see you might be having tranny problems...I wonder how much power the tranny can suck up ?

Hey, my mpg is way down also...I'm thinking it's because it has been 95+ degrees and I've had the AC running non-stop.

how much of that 420 miles are freeway? if you say half and half then damn, you got great mpg.
Yap, it's half and half. I commute with my car and the traffic is always bad on 101FWY. I also take Old Topanga Canyon when the FWY traffic is really bad, at least 2-3 times a week.
Stage I - 17.2 mpg same route
Stage II - 16.8 mpg again on the same route.
Best 24.5 mpg goiung to Vegas. Worse 9 mpg at the Willows Springs - road course.
canyon road, I see. There must be very little stoplight in order to achieve such high mpg.
