17-18 average. 21-22 on the freeway and 14-15 or less on local street.

Your mileage will vary...

freeway...21 to 24 mpg;best was 26
shorter stuff/backroads...18/19 mpg
at the track...<10 mpg

I avoid driving this car unless it's enough to get it fully warmed up.Short trips and stop/go driving will not get any fuel
economy rewards.
One stomp on the loud pedal, however, and any mileage issues are left far behind.

Hey, my mpg is way down also...I'm thinking it's because it has been 95+ degrees and I've had the AC running non-stop.

I've been doing more city type driving also.

Let's see what happens as it starts to cool off...

I see you might be having tranny problems...I wonder how much power the tranny can suck up ?

My a/c is almost always on full power. SoCal is hot. That didn't seem to affect my mpg tho.

the first two month before I reach 1000 miles I was getting around 9-10 mpg on local streets. It was a horrible experience.

Yap, it's half and half. I commute with my car and the traffic is always bad on 101FWY. I also take Old Topanga Canyon when the FWY traffic is really bad, at least 2-3 times a week.

canyon road, I see. There must be very little stoplight in order to achieve such high mpg.

Stage I - 17.2 mpg same route

I'm ranging between 12-26mpg. It all depends how hard I drive thru those turns. People seems to drive pretty fast on those Canyon road between Malibu and Woodland Hills. :P I bet most of them are locals.
