DIY R134a A/C Check and maintenance!!!
Hi Y'all just picked up a 2005 C55 for cheap but needs some TLC....

A/C was weak when temps went above 85F here in TX. So went to Autozone to free rent their R134a gauges and had some R134a cans laying around. Took pix of how it went down!
Hopefully the pix are self explanatory!!
BTW, I did the same thing to my 1997 MB S500 on benzworld.org a few years back. Principles are still the same for R134a.

i see you've had your grille wrapped in di-noc...is that recent or did you just do the AC thing awhile back

good eye! did the AC check first and later that week I sim carbon fiber wrapped the grill and interior aluminum trim. the trim makes it like a new car!!! previous owner dented and scratched the aluminum...musta been a girl...LOL
