Pricing? 04 C32 AMG Orion blue
Trying to decide if I want to sell my C32, and decide a price if I do. Suggestions would be helpful.
Details
2004 C32 AMG 103k miles
1 previous owner(maybe 2 mother to son)
Nav/ with command
dual climate control
Bi level Xenons
Eurocharged pulley and tune
newer brakes
Looks great normal stone chips
Has OZ Superleggera iii 19" on it now but have the stock style 17" with snow tires on them.
only thing that doesn't work is the rear sunshade and the bottom seat heaters.

Any ideas of what I should ask for this would be appreciated

Pluses: Nice car, like the color, Nice condition, Navi and Comand
Minuses: No cooling mods (which are almost mandatory when you go to pulley/tune), much higher mileage than many out there for an 04; Possible future IC issue with leaking
I did some Autotrader searches for the car and there's 29 of them, yours being ONE of the higher mileage units. Prices for these have really firmed recently and even surprised me. High of $17,400 to a low of $8,500 (but the lower priced cars had a LOT of miles on them).

Thanks for the replies and compliments. Just kicking around the idea of selling it right now.
I thought about asking 12,000.00 with out the OZ's maybe 14,000.00
just about to order some new rears for them.

Honestly, that's ON the low side there. Despite the mileage, the car looks clean, great color and wheels. Its an 04 which is the rarest of the C32s as well. (they made more 02s and 03s than 04s) I don't think you'd insult anyone by going for $16K for your car. You can always go down.

Just to give you an idea of what they're really going for...
I paid $10,200 for my 2002 silver with 47K on it.

2005 Mercedes C55 AMG
I've been looking for a C32 or C55 for the past few months now. I've looked every single day for at least an hour at a time. I actually recognize almost all of the C32's and C55's that are for sale across the entire country and based on cars with the same amount of miles I would guess it's value to be around $12,000 even with the rims and tune.
I almost bought a 2003 C32 with only 59,000 miles on it and he was asking $13,500 but I got him down to $12,500. The car had no problem except for the steppor motor linkage and it had all of the options.
Admittedly your car is very nice and the rims are very very nice but I doubt the actual value is higher than that. It's a shame because in reality your car should be worth much more but I doubt it is. Depending where you're at can affect how much you can get for it too.
Unfortunately performance mods can lower the value too because it can be looked at as more unreliable.
Either way good luck with the sale, and make sure you don't take it to a dealer.

I figured someone would ask that. I was going to finance it and I got a terrible rate from the bank and I didn't understand why. I ended up finding out that there has been some possible identity theft attempts that locked up my credit. Nothing was actually bought with my credit but the attempts placed an automatic lock to prevent any purchases.
This was about a month ago and I'm still trying to get the lock off of my credit. The bureau can't even unlock it for some reason. They say it's locked and to unlock it I need to access their website and enter my password and answer the security questions, but when I do that it says I cannot unlock my account because it's not locked
. So I'm stuck in a repeating cycle right now. To top it all off I think he just sold the car about a week ago. So yes I'm a little depressed about it. Although I would prefer a C55 so maybe in the end it will all work out in my benefit.

Oh yeah, I forgot to make a suggestion on your price. Although I already said what I think it's probably worth, I would still say price it at $13,500 and see how it goes. Obviously it's better to start a little above and work your way down if needed.

I have an 04 in the same color and bought it with 90k for 12k with 19's H&R lowing springs, 3m clear bra, and a couple other small mods. I did end up having to replace the motor mounts and it needs the stepper motors replaced but its a solid car. I probably could of had him down to 11-11.5 but i needed a car and I already got him down from 13.5 to 12 so i was happy with it.
I think you could get 13.5 EASY as your paint looks like its in great condition, you have the nav and bi-xenons. Plus the pully and tune(which could net you more or less depending on buyer). if you dont need any work done to it and have all the maintenance records id put it up for 14.5k and sit on it.

If a lower mileage orion blue came up for sale in atlanta I would be hard pressed to not buy it. I *love* that color... And I still love my c32 as much as the day I bought it.

They are the motors inside your dash that control the a/c air flow. So they switch it from defrost, to feet to front vents ect. They are know for going out and are a PITA to replace.
Its honestly one of my favorite colors on a car of all time. If another one popped up in my area id be hard pressed not to buy a second one lol.

GLWS Miniac!
I just bought a 2005 C55 with 80K miles. Absolutely no issues at all, brand new brakes and tires, fully loaded with every option and got it for $12,995. It's not tuned and it has the original AMG rims so it's pretty much fully stock. I know I got an extremely good deal, but that's the reason I was thinking that $14,000 even with the rims and tune was a bit high. But as always, the car is worth whatever someone else is willing to pay for it.
