W211 E55 Wheels will fit C32 easily?

Hey guys,

I've been using the search button and went to some posts relating to this topic, I found a really nice original set 18inch E55 W211. Will they easily fit the W203 2003 C32? The ET-value is ok, tires I could swap to smaller size.

I read that you will need different Bolts, different then original on the C32, and that they might interfere with a center hub bolt?

Anybody experienced in this field?? Hands on experience first hand is always better!

Are you sure the ET is the same, I'm pretty sure they won't work?

Just try and find a set of C55 Wheels, I think they look better than the W211 AMG wheels anyways.

Check this thread too, a ton of good info here since it applies to the W203's in general.

Thanks guys for the pointers, think I'm going to stick to the original wheels and just replace the rear tires.. I've plasti-dipped them in black, as well as the front grill. I was hoping to get a nice set and sell my original and go up from 17 to 18 or 19 inch.

Will probably be selling the car soon based on change of plans job wise so its too much trouble for the time remaining.

ET and width are different, as well as the wheel bolt holes are made for M14 size (C32/55 was M12). You're better off looking at C/CLK/S wheels

Thanks for the input guys, thats a definitely no on the E55 wheels. The prices on second hands wheels are so far apart.

Actually found a nice set of E55 18inch with bridgestone tires, straight and all good, asking just 500 in Phoenix.

Found a guy selling his C55 18inch with crap tires asking a 1000 in SD!!

Actually he dropped his price now to 800.

eclectic assortment of cars
You can accommodate the different wheel bolt diameters (R12 vs R14) with hybrid bolts from RAD: http://otisincla.com

The custom wheel and hub centric spacers from Motorsports Tech:
http://www.motorsport-tech.com

But doing so will add a few hundred dollars to the cost, so maybe not cost effective if that is the main goal.
