Needswings DCAI Review

I don't write here a lot but I just wanted to give you all a assurance that if your debating on buying one, its worth the money! I have 265 V12 tires and now they lose traction if I punch it in 1st at 25 mph, never happened in the last 2 yrs with 2 sets of 265/35/18s. Sounds a lil louder/meaner too at full throttle. I didn't think I would feel a difference in power on my butt dyno and I was wrong, it pulls harder at high rpm. Gas mileage is a lil bit better too. I can now hold 78-80 mph on the highway and get 22mpg, I also beat my record of 24.5 mpg to 25.7. This is all done on my 46 mile drive to work. In the end I can sell it used for $500.00 so I would only lose $400.00 which is not bad, or I can sell my AMG airbox to get money back sooner. That's the way I looked at it after paying $900.00 for it.

Are you planning on getting a tune to go with it?

No pictures, looks just like the websites exept I got everything in black. Still not sure about a tune, after blowing 2 turbos and 2 head gaskets in my Supra and blowing the motor on my EVO I'm very skeptical on altering the factory tune. I'm sure it can take it, just holding back for a while. Maybe headers first but cali smog laws suck, I might go with AMS headers that are on EBAY sold by RPM. I know I might only get 5-10 hp but I wont have to worry about smog and I will only pay $500.00 and install myself. Not trying to go all out, just a lil more power.

i haven´t got mine ecu tuned yet, and if i leave it as is, i wouldn´t get one either.
But i´m about to change camshafts, then a tune is a must.

With correct mods the std tune will be good for about 430-440 engine hp.
And this is my exhaust values:
0.04% Co idle
0.2 raised idle rpm Co (2500rpm)
70 Hc
1.01 Lambda(idle)

This is the values measured in Sweden and the maximum allowed is:
0.5%
0.5%
100%
0.98-1.02

And i have deleted all four cats, but have exchanged the two first with two magnaflow 200cell cats directly after my longtube headers.

It is but we don't have a better choice, it also replaces the mass airflow sensor housing that even renntechs airbox does not. If we all had mustangs the price would be $300.00 cheaper.

the biggest difference is what, that they use aluminum bent tubes that connect to the TB vice rubber tubes? I mean you can put the green filters or the K&N filters in to increase airflow there and they use the kevlar tubes that are on the CLK and SL...I mean is there a lot of loss at the MAF?
