C55's in the Washington DC & Baltimore area
Just trying to get a head count of how many guys are on here with C55's that live in the DC/Baltimore area, or ones you may have seen in the DC area.
I saw a very clean black on black one with limo tint and Maryland tags today (4/28/14) rolling between Georgia Ave/495/Silver Spring area and Potomac, Maryland exit 4 off of 270. I gave them a fly by and they returned the favor so good to see whoever it was enjoying the car.
Mine is black on black with a blacked out grill, no fog lamps, flat hood badge and black mufflers and I'm in the Rockville/Bethesda area.
230Mulac is in the Northern Virginia area with the Diamond black paint, black headlights, extra sound from the 2nds cut out and different rims.
Dre5373 has a white one in the Baltimore area with a full exhaust and SL rims
I've also seen a tan one in the Rockville area but it appears to be a grocery getter as my attempts to induce some type of action have either been viewed by uninterested eyes or just plain ignored

Yea I don't think there were many of us around. I'm a silver from Arlington but just moved to California a few weeks ago. In the past year I've seen 2 dark painted ones and one other silver in the DMV area.

I live in Woodbridge. Silver 05. Saw another silver one at Hooters in my town. You can imagine my disappointment to have another person have the exact same model as my exclusive car. (Never did find out who owned it) And then I also met a guy who had a black one a few months back when I was at the gas station so that's at least three where I live including me. Funny thing though, I've still only seen eight in the metal in my life.

Car meet, cars and coffee, etc. or we could hit Capital raceway or a SoloX event at FedEx field.... these are kinda in the middle between us all and have monthly events. Drag racing is up to $30 to race, $15 to watch. I think and SoloX is $50 for non members but free to watch.

Capital Raceway does the test and tune every Friday from 4:30-11pm, thinking of actually hitting it Friday night.
They are also showing an 11-6 test and tune import only car show, on this Sunday. Might look into that too.
Cars and coffee is every Saturday in Great Falls town center in Virginia. Anyone who hasn't been, you have to go. I've never seen so much $$$$ in cars in one place in my life.
Flagship Fridays is an informal meet at the Flagship car wash in Gaithersburg, MD. Definitely one of the less classy ones, has a good amount of high schoolers, ricers, etc. but there are still some sick cars you can see there if you're willing to deal with the couple of idiots doing burn-outs and drawing attention from cops and stuff.
I went to some other meet two Fridays ago at the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, I think it was called "Kleen Wheels" or some crap like that. It was HUGE. So many cars filled up the big parking lot near the Giant grocery store in there.

C230 Mulac not too keen on the High school Fast and the furious scene but Cars and Coffee sounds great. I have my last class this Saturday so not this week but the week after I am definitely open.

Haha, yeah it can get a little overwhelming. I've been twice and met a couple of chill people. The first night I went it got a little crazy and immature so I went around the corner to Dogfish Head for a beer 
Second time I went I met Ed and it wasn't as bad, probably because it had rained earlier, and a sick Lambo Gallardo pulled up. Cars and coffee is much better, and much classier.
I would go after work tonight, but I'm meeting my realtor. Been really busy looking at properties but hopefully I can free up some time soon for more car stuff. I would be down to check it out next Monday or so.

Thought I would post this in here, got a question for all us C55 guys around here.
I was looking into getting my fenders rolled at the rear to take care of the rubbing issue (not sure if any of you have it too). It rubs on hard right turns a little bit on the outer lip.
Starting to think of just going wide body in the back but can't find a wide body kit for our cars. Does anyone know someone who can do some custom body work for a reasonable price?

Anyone down to go to Capitol Raceway next Friday, May 23rd? $15 to watch, $30 to race. They start at 4:30 but after 9 it usually starts to suck (at least it used to) because they have no crowd control and the drunks stumble into the box....
Side note: Weistec got the silver CLK63 to 9.1s at 155mph...

There has been chatter between myself, 230Mulac and Dre5373 recently to go drag racing together. Hopefully we can all meet up before the end of June.

) Mine is an '06. I must admit it is a rare car. Only seen one other Silver before you driving through downtown DC. Even here in LA I saw another silver one. I see a black one almost daily during my work commutes but it looks pretty beat up. C55s at Hooters Woodbridge

If the weather holds out, I may hit cars and coffee in Great Falls this Saturday. Try and get there around 7am. Let's see if we can get some of us together for that one of these weekends. Would be nice to have a small crew of some AMGs there.

I live in Crofton and I'm interested in meeting all you guys. Im coming from a very active Mazdaspeed club and we met up at least twice a month to eat dinner. I also have access to the hobby shop on Ft meade so I would host install days. If anybody needed something installed we would meet up and help out/or learn if you hadn't done it before. Hoping we can get something like that going. I don't know about the cars and coffee 7am is really early on Saturday. Maybe we can all meet up and ride out to dinner one evening...

Hahaha that was mine! I live in Cali now but before I moved I met up with a friend at that Hooters and spotted your C55 (even took a pic ) Mine is an '06. I must admit it is a rare car.
