Do Uro motor mounts last or best to go with lemfoerder?

Hi guys - new user here. I have the C55 AMGnut88 (Ric) used to have. I'll get a proper intro thread going. I have lots of experience with audi cars and I know Uro products are avoided like the plague. Just curious if they fair any better in MB world? I have some idle vibration. And at 118k miles I'm being told they are original. PO said the dealership just looked over the car and said the mounts were fine but I don't buy it.

Thanks!

Yes Dennis,

Boge separated from Lemförder 6/2004, as a Aus/German government independent contribution company,

then Lemförder comes as a part of internationally ZF lifecycle commitment support center...

Thanks all. FWIW, Rockauto has Autohaus beat on these (lemfoerder).

$59 vs $81.

Does Rockauto include free shipping? I know AutohausAZ usually does free US domestic shipping when you order over $50.

No free shipping - but shipping was only ~$5. Still quite a bit less expensive when factoring in all costs.

I did use Autohaus for coolant and added on filters to meet their free ground shipping minimum of $65. I thought it was $50 too. Maybe it used to be, but not yesterday...

Good info to know!

BTW, I will add to the Uro hate. Crap parts. I bought breather hoses for my C43 that were Uro. What could go wrong, right? Just some rubber hoses. The car sat for about a year, didn't even drive it - and in that time, the hoses cracked! Never again.

I'm also not very fond of Meyle either. Within days, fuel pump from them on my C43 exhibited the same symptoms as the original Pierburg pump that was on its way out. Bought another Pierburg and all was well.

hey Vinnie
did your Pierburg fuel pump leak gas when you replaced it with Meyle pump?
best thing to do is to stick with known brands such as bosch, pierburg, lemförder, hella, corteco, SKF and some other brands

Nah, back on the C43, the original pump wasn't giving enough pressure at start up. So instead of turning the key and the car starting on its own with the convenience function, I had to crank it more than once. After much diagnosis with help from forum member Ausmbtech, the pump was tracked down as the problem, but the issue was only fully resolved when the new Pierburg pump was installed.
