i am going to put masking tape on my car
like 10 rolls of it.. and then drive around town and see how many rumors i can start and how many websites i make it into.

use a black color and cover up the emblems etc like spy shots of cars.

yes mr. harris, i appreciate it alot.. i just got a chance to look at the e-mail today, with my hectic schedule and my rather ****ty computer, i haven't had a chance to get online much, hence i haven't posted here lately till today.. i will reply back tonight. thanks alot.

yes. but masking tape is not as bad as electrical tape, so it is easier to remove.. you can have the honor to start the first rumor.. maybe i can get my hand on some bi-turbo emblems and temp stick 'em to the car

Yep that would be the way to get noticed. MB is crazy to be secret testing with all of the black tape, makes more of a stir than it would in a FULLY configured C55, who would even notice the C55. What would they see anyway? WOW a new headlamp shape, who would even turn their head? Black Tape and lookout, I wonder what that is?

Sort of the Buick Vista Criuser deal, If you really want to get noticed, forget buying a beautiful MB, BMW and Porsche, buy an old Vista Cruiser wagon with the peeling contact paper wood on it.

Maybe the tape is actually a new option on the new C55, a way to get some "spotlight" on the car.
