Isolation kit

My ISO kit is installed and I went through heat cycles, this may sound stupid but when do I shut the valves off when the car is cooled down or not?
Thanks in advance, I did try to search

My thought is that when it cools down it will suck more coolant back into IC to fill it up, I hope this is right

I did it cold for no particular reason. The intercooler is always completely full hence the bleeding of the air when you drain the coolant.

If you put a separate intercooler tank on it wouldn't matter, the tank would bleed any air off. I put a 2004 Cobra tank where my windshield washer tube came up at, still looks stock too!

It's easy

You've already put a shut off valve to your radiator reservoir, just reroute the line that comes out of your IC to your pump, to a new separate tank, and then back to your pump. And it's done...

IC isolation

You see the 2 aluminum lines in the pic, that is your supply and return lines, they both go to your pump, the top line is your return line to the IC Pump, you take that top line off, buy you some hose to fit that top (return) aluminum pipe and route it to the top of your tank, then route another line off the bottom of your tank back to the hose that you took off that aluminum tube, its done!! and also don't forget to cap off that little hose that Y's off the radiator hose running over the top of your radiator..
