Who wants to predict how the C55 dual exhaust is done?
Is it a y pipe behind the spare tire well with a 2nd muffler?
or is it just a dummy pipe that extends from the original exhaust?
will they remove the spare tire well completely?

I've seen the underbody when I went to change my tires. I think they will probably do something to the spare well to fit the second set of muffler IF it does have a second muffler and not just the extended pipe.

But any modification to the wheel well would render it useless for a full size spare. They could modify the well and provide a those short wall spare tires, or equip the car with run flats (i hope now) or go back to the 02 pump deal.

The C32 never came with any spare... just the "foam and pump"
My C32 is 2002 and I remember that the dealer offered me the spare wheel if I wanted instead of the 'standard' kit that comes with the car.

Sorry for the crappy shot, but I didn't take pictures of absolutely every underbody I could find, so this is a crop of a picture with something far more interesting the the foreground.
Oh and just in case you can't tell, yes it's a C55, yes it has quads, yes it uses 2 mufflers...and yes the brake calipers up front have turned yellow
