Yeah! The package was really beat up but they survived! Glad to hear that Renntech box is doing good on ya! Is it a noticable upgrade?

Definitely! It's amazing the size difference and extra stopping power you get! Feel free if you have any questions!

The headlights on the C have been progressively getting yellow and cloudy over my last year of ownership so I decided to have them professionally cleaned by a local headlight restoration company.

It makes the car look so much newer/nicer and I was surprised on how much better the headlights lit up the road after as well!

I cleaned up my engine bay a bit today. I replaced the mobil1 sticker that was falling apart and added the new Eurocharged badge as well as the Needswings signature mount!

These Kleemann headers also showed up on my doorstep, just waiting on the new gaskets and nuts to show up now!

Looks great. I had someone redo my headlights not long after I got my car, made a huge difference. I tried a DIY kit with a drill initially, it came out great but the fogging came back over 6-12 months.

Would you mid please taking a picture of the collector and 1-2 ports? I would really appreciate it. I am thinking of getting some kleemanns as the only local shop I would trust to do long tubes wants $3,000. Probably worth it for the quality but still too much to justify.

Yeah he said they will fade again over time, just depends on the amount of sun/weather exposure etc.

That is quite expensive, I just got these from Kleemann's official ebay page for $745 shipped! All I needed was the new manifold nuts and gaskets for $45 and a new Eurocharged map to tune for the headers and O2 sensors. Local shop will install for $400!

did you end up buying the MAF from amazon?

I bought one and it was bad. The car wouldn't even move, it just wanted to die.

Ended up returning it. The process took a month....never again will I deal with them

That sounds terrible! I was a little nervous of that exact thing happening. I triple checked that it was a NIB Bosch original OE part before buying. There was one on there for $107 but I decided to go with the $120 because it was fulfilled by Amazon themselves and also qualified for 2 day Prime shipping which the cheaper one did neither. When it arrived the first thing I did was insert the unique part code on the box seal into the Bosch website to confirm authenticity. It checked out and when it put it in CEL immediately went away; hasn't had a single hiccup!

None for now
I've sprayed MAF cleaner on my MAF a few times but I get occasional stuttering on idle. Have you guys experienced this or is it time to get a new MAF?

Maybe it got damaged in transport!

Well when I scanned the CEL code it came back as 'P0102 MAF circuit low input'. Originally I thought it may be wiring or something on the sensor. I checked all the voltages going to the sensor and they were all in the correct window range. I too then cleaned the sensor off but CEL stayed on. I tried to clear the code but it would come right back. Once I replaced the sensor the light went away before I even turned the engine over.

I would get a code reader and check for any stored codes. See if there is anything stored relating to your MAF or otherwise! Some people don't realize that your car will store certain faults and not throw a CEL or dash light, especially if it is intermittent like your situation!

Thanks for the photos. I have seen some other photos of kleemanns over the years and just wanted to see how their welds and grinding are these days. That is the tidiest merge collector I have seen from them, looks great. I would put a ruler (or straight edge) over the flange and make sure it is straight and the bolt holes are all in line. I think their quality control is pretty good but someone on here had a problem with a bolt hole being off. Better to find out before the install. Kleemann replaced it asap I seem to remember.

I think I will get some of these when the time comes. The main hp gains are to get rid of the extremely restrictive stock flange at the end of the stock headers. This will do that nicely. The guy at the shop showed me some beautiful 4-1 merge collectors with perfect taper point etc but the extra 3hp really isn't worth another $2k. I am sure you will let us know how you find them.

That's good! Definately be a good thing to check, thanks for the heads-up. Yes, where the header meets the primary cat is quite restrictive. I have seen videos of these installed but never in person. The remaining parts I needed came in this afternoon, so I am chomping at the bit to get these installed!

Haha yeah! Now I have to decide if I want to spend the $122 for an official signature badge, or just get something cheap from ebay!

Car looks great man!

Kinda random question: On your Needswings DCAI, did you have trouble with that large rubber elbow constantly slipping off of the throttle body? Mine is a real pain to get secure with that hose clamp routed down the back of the engine.
It kept slipping off when the other intake piping and filter cans are connected. I finally got it to fit alright, but just had to take it all apart to get the car smogged- now it's back on with it...

Thanks! No it has never given me any problems! When I replaced the MAF I went in and rotated all the clamps so then ends weren't showing and made sure it was all symmetrical. I climbed up on the top of the engine and made sure it was all seated and tight!

Sounds good, I'll give it a stab. Climbing on top of the M113 is probably the best way to tackle it!

Got the headers installed about a week ago! They sound so good! One of the O2 sensors was cross threaded so I had to replace that! Installed my updated tune file from Eurocharged and no CELs! The car pulls/launches noticably harder too!

Also hit 69k

Regarding your aftermarket air intake, how does the air filter look like and where can you buy them?
