Angry Benz car/dealer/loaner problem!

Ok so im in the parking lot driving and my brakes just come on and the car comes to a stop! i thought i hit something so i jump out and look around and everything seems fine. so i put the car in drive and the car won't budge it's just free revving! i turn off/on the car drive works...so im driving away slowly and start to hear a thumping sound from the rear like a flat tire. SO i pull over again and see nothing wrong at all. I called the benz tow truck and goto the dealership.............

So my service advisor takes the car for a spin with another worker (i should have road with them) and they go for 10min which isn't a good idea because of that bad sound coming. Meanwhile im talking to the manager of the loaner cars and he is telling me loaner cars are booked 1.5weeks in advance by appointment only! the service advisor came back from the drive and told the manager "yeah he needs a loaner...seems like it's the rear axle"

anyhow they got one of the employees to drive me home. (and he talked about his penta costal church and bible the whole way home) :p

keep you guys updated..

roozy, I am more interested in your rear axle problem than your story. Please update us what is wrong with your axle.

Yes, I too am very interested to hear what's up with the axle. I had plenty of wheel spin/traction control action this winter that I thought for sure my axle was going to blow up ... Let us know how it turns out!

Sorry to hear about the problems. BTW, they could have sent you over to Enterprise or another agency on the their dime if they were out of cars. It is up to the SA to pull strings for you.

sad for ya, roozy! didn't you just had the 02 changed to the 03 because of problems?

next time ask them to have a female worker drive you home so you can actually talk and pimp instead of listening to boring church stories.

now they called and can't find my wheel lock thats always been by the tools! can't they just take off the 4 other bolts and snap off the last one? rather pay for a new set than put the car on hold for 2 weeks to get a key mailed in

Might damage the wheel hub or the lug seat.

Is that a MB wheel lock??? What kind of dealership is that??? Each dealership should have a COMPLETE set of MB wheel lock that can open ANY MB wheel locks.

Sir, if they can take out the other 4 bolts first and yank off the wheel lock, do you think the car thief can do that as well??? Whats the point of having a wheel lock then??? Hahahaha!!!
