unwanted c32
Not only with the C32. I just sold a 2001 CL55 and took a big hit too.
If you don't mind me asking how much did you sell it? PM me if you like? Was just curious.
Sticker was $48k, but I have the DiamlerChrysler friends & family discount because my grandfather is a DC retiree -- so I paid $41k for it.
One year later, $35.5k trade in. If I was a regular retail customer, I would have lost $13.5k in one year. I still took a hit but I got my 04 C32 for $49k, which was a large discount off of the sticker at $53.5k.

If you're constantly worried about depreciation, especially after only 2-3 years of ownership, then maybe it's time to think about buying used.

where do u see $34k? I just checked mine on bluebook it's worth $39k...
still a lot of hit tho...hahah
I think it is sad but true. When I looked to trade my car in a while back i was offered prices between 32k and 34k. So today i would say a C32 with 25k miles will sell for 35-36k on the open market.
This cars value fell like a stone!
M3's valus are higher and I truely have no idea why! The are mass produced compared to the C32 but people still want that car used for some reason. Ever seen M3 drivers? They abuse their cars! And they are sill selling for 45k used. What gives?
Who cares...enjoy your cars. My new car will fall like a stone too....just need to accept it and move forward I think!
I just sold my ML for 41K, I bought it 3 months before for 44K
not too badd.
My C240 was worthless, like 21K a year old and 12k miles, loss 0f 9k
AMG does hold up a little better.
