Clk32..
The E55 is too big.
The CLK55 only has two doors and the stupid motorized seat, for rear seat entry (long wait).
If it had not been for the rear seat access issue, I would have gotten the CLK55, the V8 sounds so much nicer.
Yeah, CLK is priced more than the C, but if the CLK32 gets the same amount of AMG-tization as a C32 would, then their premium over base should be the same...
I would pay the same amount of premium C32 - C320 = CLK32 - CLK320

on the other hand, with a C55 available.. hmm... then a C500 is possible, wouldn't it?
so what would the price diff between clk500 and a theoretical clk32 then? if the clk32 prices too close to it then it may be a problem....

If MB had produced the a CLK32, with the same specs as the CLK55, but with the engine of the current C32, and costing about 10k more then the C32.. would you have gotten it instead of the C32?
A s/c v6 CLK (w208) would probably have been lighter than the 5.5 v8 version turned out and probably would have pretty good performance. Especially with the 3.07 differential gearing the v6 has.
As it was, there was nearly 300# differance of the 3.2 vs the 5.5 model in the w208's.
The w209's got heavier with the larger body plus the extra reinforcements that going pillarless required to keep the body stiff enough.

I picked the C32, because it was a small four door.
