AMG Private Lounge registration process??

About 8 months ago I attempted to register at the AMG Private Lounge, entered in all my info, and received a message saying the VIN was already registered and I would need to wait for further verification. I have still heard nothing, and periodically I will attempt to login and I always am taken to a screen that says "Please allow up to three days for processing your membership request. We will send you an e-mail once we have verified your account." It's been 8 months! Has anyone here run into the same issue, or know what I should do to fix this? I tried e-mailing their contact e-mail address (amg-privatelounge@daimler.com) a few months ago and never got a response. Perhaps there's some criteria that I'm not aware of, like only certain (or new enough?) AMG models qualify for access?

I recently emailed then to that email and got a response within a day or two. Try again.

Just to close the loop on this, I got a response this afternoon and I'm now able to log in! For some reason my account was stuck in limbo, in a state where it was pending verification. Very cool site. I assume basically all of the AMG owners on here are also in the PL?

It's a neat sticker to add to your car, and if you can somehow post enough to win some of the monthly contests the swag is nice, but there really isn't much useful content for older chassis in my opinion. I registered when I had my first AMG, a '95 C36. Added the PL sticker to that car and it's successor, the C55. I don't think I'll add the sticker to my E55 though.

So, any benefit to the lounge? I bought my W211 E55 about 2 months ago and it had the sticker. I’ve left it for now but I’m stuck between thinking it’s pretentious and kinda cool.

In my opinion, the Lounge is only beneficial to people with newer (2010+) AMG's with plenty of time to comment online. It's a global forum, so there's frequent offers of driving opportunities taking place in Europe or elsewhere irrelevant to me. The cool give-aways they offer only go to the highest posts per month.
