Hellppp!!!

Hi, so I recently installed needswings downpipes and eurocharged shorty headers on my c32. After starting it it and letting it idle it sounded normal. As soon as I left my driveway I noticed it sounded weird almost like a Subaru. I drove it for around 15 min and came back. after putting it in park it began to idle weird almost sounded like it had a cam. Also there was a lot of heat emitting from the headers/head area. Ignition problem?

I suspect the increased airflow is causing the engine to run super lean and causing it to overheat. The ECU probably needs to adapt and throw more fuel into the mix. How long this will take I don't know.

So there is no need for a tune ? How would I make it (Ecu)?“adjust” by simply driving it ?

It should automatically adjust itself just by driving. I have no idea how the process works or how long it should take tough. You may get a check engine light too until it settles down. Several repeated short drives would be what I'd suggest. Stay close to home and watch the heat like a hawk - you don't want to warp anything since it is an aluminum engine.

Someone else want to chime in on ECU air/fuel adaptations? I'm no expert...

Sounds like a massive exhaust leak.
