If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP, this car will more than likely not last very long. I do not want to sound like the typical car salesman, but there will be people willing the shell out the money for this one.
I think I should of asked that, I know what base price is , I have bought around 4 benz's , 1 BMW X5,BNZ's Honda ,2 cargo vans and a Audi off the lots
I am still not sold on all the dealers listing or quoting prices.
What are ya gonna let it go for..MSRP??? no way

Just out of curiosity, why would your dealership lease it @ MSRP but not sell it @MSRP? How much more do you make out of a lease?
You lease it for 5 years, spend 50 grand
Car tuns back in and they get another 35 or so,..
That's why they like to lease new cars..
They do not like leasing used.

60K for a W203?
12-14 K more gets you in a 05 E55
The price will still be marked up in CA for the first run, even on stripper models.
Not trying to put this deal down MArcus, It's cool you come in and offer new cars.
My C32 was loaded with everything at 52,000, and its not much different than the V8

I've got one coming in the Bay Area, first one at a major dealership, and no markup. Some people still prefer making good friends with customers rather than going for pure profit, I guess.
I don't think it will be as bad as what happend when the Evo came out..
That is partially true and the dealership does make extra profit from the bank on a lease. If you want to buy the car at MSRP, you can initially lease the car. You make about 3 payments, then covert that lease into a purchase or just pay the loan off from the bank. If you do this you will have been able to buy a very hot car for MSRP and all you have lost is about $400 in interest.
Not to rain on anyboy's parade here, but what about the acquisition fees, possible lease termination fee, etc. Isn't the real loss higher than just the $400 you stated (In a previous post you stated that you are not fully versed in the financial site of transactions.)
OT:
So as the cycle continues.. W202 C36 (6 cyl) > W202.5 C43 (8cyl) > W203 C32 (6cyl) > W203.5 C55 (8cyl)... Im thinking twin turbo DOHC for the W204
!!!
My in a couple of years, I might have a C55 in my driveway. Until then, I'm more then happy with a pimped out C32 in the garage.

Don't get me wrong, I will sell any C55 for MSRP on an order! If you put your money down and wait a few months to have your car built by the factory, I will sell for MSRP and you can pay how every you want. It is just this car was not ordered for a specific person and as much as I don't like it, the market will dictate that this car bring a substantial profit.
. I took the time to find out where The House of Imports, MBZ (So. California) is located... thankfully is it in the Los Angeles area --though I bit of a drive from me that I live in the Santa Barbara area-- and actually called and ask to speak to "Mr Marcus" aka "MarcusBenz" from the MbWorld.org forum. Whelp.. NOBODY KNOWS WHO YOU ARE!!!. I spoke with a couple of people in the sales group, still nobody knew who you could possibly be... that sounds like a ghost sales man to me.
