Lighting Pkg. - $790

I have a Brilliant Silver/Charcoal car with Lighting, Premium & Navi. that is available and due to land on the 21st of this month. The car will more than likely be at the dealership by the 27th. If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP, this car will more than likely not last very long. I do not want to sound like the typical car salesman, but there will be people willing the shell out the money for this one.

I think he should just put how much he is going to let the car go for.
I think I should of asked that, I know what base price is , I have bought around 4 benz's , 1 BMW X5,BNZ's Honda ,2 cargo vans and a Audi off the lots

I am still not sold on all the dealers listing or quoting prices.

What are ya gonna let it go for..MSRP??? no way

The car we have coming in has a total MSRP of $60,525 (it has all the options that I listed). I should be able to convience my dealership to sell the car at MSRP as long as the perspecitive buyer is willing to lease the car. If you are not looking to lease, PM or e-mail me and I can explain how to get around that stipulation.

Just out of curiosity, why would your dealership lease it @ MSRP but not sell it @MSRP? How much more do you make out of a lease?

They sell the car twice on a lease.

You lease it for 5 years, spend 50 grand

Car tuns back in and they get another 35 or so,..

That's why they like to lease new cars..

They do not like leasing used.

Too bad it is not fully loaded. It sure would have been nice if it had a ski bag and an integrated cell phone. It is really the perfect car to take up a snow covered mountain at full throttle. Maybe they will make a world rally car out of it? Does a fully optioned C55 now outperform the 2005 M3 in pricing?

That is partially true and the dealership does make extra profit from the bank on a lease. If you want to buy the car at MSRP, you can initially lease the car. You make about 3 payments, then covert that lease into a purchase or just pay the loan off from the bank. If you do this you will have been able to buy a very hot car for MSRP and all you have lost is about $400 in interest.

Wow......$53,900 base MSRP. I wonder who quoted that MSRP price on another thread just the other day? ;-)

$60K is NOT the markup.

Metallic Paint - $680
Lighting Pkg. - $790
Premium Pkg. - $925 (Rain Sensor, Sunshade & CD changer)
DVD COMAND - $2,210
Gas Guzzler Tax - $1,300

Total is around $60K

My C32 was loaded with everything at 52,000, and its not much different than the V8

60K for a W203?

12-14 K more gets you in a 05 E55

The price will still be marked up in CA for the first run, even on stripper models.

Not trying to put this deal down MArcus, It's cool you come in and offer new cars.

I've got one coming in the Bay Area, first one at a major dealership, and no markup. Some people still prefer making good friends with customers rather than going for pure profit, I guess.

Not to rain on anyboy's parade here, but what about the acquisition fees, possible lease termination fee, etc. Isn't the real loss higher than just the $400 you stated (In a previous post you stated that you are not fully versed in the financial site of transactions.)

Cars and boats!
I paid $53,900 for my C32.. tahst with the bixenon lighting package and rear sunshade... also shipped from Georgia over here to Florida!! Then theres tax and all this other BS... but I put down $10k for finance and im paying like $800 a month!!! So im sure the C55 would be about the same!!! Im sure when the C32 first came out, people were paying about what they are paying for the C55 now!!! Its also interesting to note that when the C43 first came out, it was stickered at around $57k i think!!! I might have the papers from my old C43 at home, Let me look at it!!

OT:
So as the cycle continues.. W202 C36 (6 cyl) > W202.5 C43 (8cyl) > W203 C32 (6cyl) > W203.5 C55 (8cyl)... Im thinking twin turbo DOHC for the W204 !!!

$60k is what I thought they would be priced at. Marcus seems to be willing to work with a buyer at getting this car close to MSRP. That's why I just bought my C32 a couple of months ago, I got it for $200 above dealer invoice. Just simply can't be that.

My in a couple of years, I might have a C55 in my driveway. Until then, I'm more then happy with a pimped out C32 in the garage.

There's too much hype on the car right now... Give it a couple of months you might be able to get a better deal later. Patients is a virtue.

Don't get me wrong, I will sell any C55 for MSRP on an order! If you put your money down and wait a few months to have your car built by the factory, I will sell for MSRP and you can pay how every you want. It is just this car was not ordered for a specific person and as much as I don't like it, the market will dictate that this car bring a substantial profit.

In case you never check your email and/or PMs on this forum, or you simply YOU don't exist, or better said, you do exist only in the forums and on the web, where everyone is always "whatever" they whish to be . I took the time to find out where The House of Imports, MBZ (So. California) is located... thankfully is it in the Los Angeles area --though I bit of a drive from me that I live in the Santa Barbara area-- and actually called and ask to speak to "Mr Marcus" aka "MarcusBenz" from the MbWorld.org forum. Whelp.. NOBODY KNOWS WHO YOU ARE!!!. I spoke with a couple of people in the sales group, still nobody knew who you could possibly be... that sounds like a ghost sales man to me.
