C55 Rear Flex Disc # 2034100815 vs. 2034110215

Hello All,

I had thought I found the correct part number (Recommended by Mercedes Dealer and FCPeuro) for C55 rear flex disc with part # 203 410 08 15. However, today while under the car I spotted the number on the rear flex disc and it was part # 203 411 02 15.

It is about a $100 price difference between the two and more importantly want to figure out what is best for the car, so any help is much appreciated.

Vehicle is a 2005 C55 amg if there is any difference for part numbers between years.

Thanks in advance!

Just to finish this off after my findings and emailing the Bilstein Group directly, it was revealed that the part # 203 411 02 15 or FEBI part # 27582 is for the individual rear flex disc with out hardware kit. The part # 203 410 08 15 or FEBI part # 27583 is for the same part with hardware kit. If you follow this link you will see that they match up with both OEM part numbers originally in question (203 411 02 15, 203 410 08 15) which only difference is hardware included versus not included.

https://partsfinder.bilsteingroup.co...cle/febi/27582

Their is not much price difference but it allows multiple options at least, the reason I was so stubborn in this research is because I know the rear flex disc is original on my car after double checking service history and from physical inspection.

Thank you,
kaixidego

Your part number on your car is there for <$130.

I doubt the one on your current car is original to the car as it shows compatibility with 7speed cars, i.e newer c300, s550s etc.
They may have the same bolt battern/holes though so it could be compatible.

Thank you for your reply Agent-A01, it looks like that part number in your link doesn't match up to mine though. That part replaces # 203 411 00 15, mine is # 203 411 02 15.

From the looks of mine I assume it has not been changed yet.

Hi......here's the MB EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) part info and photo of the front and rear flex discs for '05 and '06 C55's.

Good luck!

Thank you Robjr!

Stated here it shows C55 is also a match for my current part #, should I assume that both parts are interchangeable? Since I know part # 203 411 02 15 that is on the vehicle now is original, I may just stick with that...

kaixdiego......

Where did you get that chart? Also....what's your vin #? Again, I'll send your the part # based on your VIN as well as Mercedes Benz Data Card from WIS/ASRA based on how your car left the factory and Affalterbach AMG!

Kaixdiego......

Agent-A01 is absolutely correct in that the previous owner installed the incorrect part. In fact, I just talked to my # 1 MB Dealer parts guy and he reiterated the correct flex disc for the rear is A203 410 08 15...! In fact, I just ordered the same part which I'll pick up on Monday, April 1st. I'll pm you the invoice if you want!

According to that chart, the part # is for the C55 Estate Wagon (S203 Model) versus the C55 Sedan (W203 Model). Again, according to my parts guy, that is a bogus part #. I would re-think ordering that part # and go with A203 410 08 15 (rear flex disc)!

Robjr....

The chart was from a listing for FEBI part on ebay... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Propshaft-J...53.m1438.l2649

vin # WDBRF76JX5F642095

That's pretty odd...I have been getting some slight vibration at different rpm from driveshaft, wonder if the part being incorrect could be the reason as I have ruled out all else...?

Ok.....here's your build sheet from MB WIS/ASRA.

Hello again,

So I put in an order for the # 203 410 08 15 with another vendor, however they are on back order atm so my order was cancelled. After which I began browsing again and I'm wondering why no sites states specifically that the part number listed is for the C55...see below (Do the C350 or Slk55 share the same driveshaft as the C55?)
  • Genuine: Mercedes-Benz
  • SKU: 203-410-08-15
  • Positions: Rear
  • Other Names: Flex Coupling, Ts Flexible Coupling
  • Description: Rear. C350. C230. Slk55 amg.

kaixdiego.....

I just bought A 203 410 08 15 from my dealership and installed it yesterday morning. That's absolutely the correct part # for the C55 rear flex disc!!!

Additionally, the $136 price + tax is near the wholesale price, too! Go buy it from your local MB dealership, it's that simple!

According to EPC, neither the C350 or the SLK55 AMG use the same propeller as the C55......there are two regular C350 models with chassis #'s of 205056 and 204357. Their respective propeller part #'s are as follows:

Chassis # 204056 = A204 410 07 06; A204 410 77 06; A204 410 21 06; and 204 410 78 06.
Chassis # 204357= A204 410 07 06; A204 140 08 06

SLK55 AMG (Chassis # 171473): A 17 410 49 06

Those are the most recent EPC part #'s for the propeller shafts on those cars you cited!

Good luck.......

Thanks Robjr, don't mean to beat a dead horse just found it odd that no site specifically states the C55...

What was the cost of the part from your dealer if you don't mind? My local dealer quoted $257.00 I believe which is way too steep compared to online prices.

kaixdiego..

My wholesale cost was slightly lower than your $136 + tax! Where are you located? I'm in Southern California and I have a wholesale account at the two dealerships where I buy my parts. I'm semi-retired and only work on my cars for fun (Mercedes-Lotus)!

By the way, you are right! The horsey is dead! lol

Good luck.....

bribery........I simply just asked if I could apply and they accepted! You will need to have a re-sale license in your name that they will accept!

Again, good luck!
