made a mistake and test drove a 320 sport

I'm trying to decide if I'll take deliv on c55 never driven a c series so I figure I should at least try a sport sedan.

Ok, if I was just looking for a regular car fine but this thing seriously had major major body roll. The steering was way overboosted and the brakes weak.

Made me think I shouldn't take deliv.

In contrast when i test drove m3 I thought it was a little harsher than the 330. If the c55 is only a little less "floaty" than the 320 then forget it.

Has anyone driven one vs a c32 as a comparison? Would love to know just how much they differ in handling (not engine power)

Thanks

I have one on order but not sure I want it after testing 320. Was hoping someone who has c32 would be able to compare c32 to 320

thanks

roll/steering boost seemed a lot more noticeable than on m3, s4, 545. Just my opinion.

Better yet, go drive a 230K sport, it is the best handling W203 C Class and handles better than a C32. The C55 has made some improvements in the handling department, but if you are placing your emphasis on handling, you will need to upgrade the suspension to coilovers and purchase larger wheels and tires to be competitive in this market segment.

Most C class owners change there suspension after they buy there cars. I agree as well Stock C class are like Cadillacs, but that is why aftermarket exists!

Don't know about the US versions, but my dad's C320 rides a lot softer than my car. The steering on my car is also sharper than on the C320.

*High Five*

There's quite a few vendors out there who offer products that'll easily beef up the suspension on the W203's.

Give Evosport a call as they do a lot of custom work also if you are interested in that.

And if yall want body roll, come drive my LS.

Apparently the C55 handles almost as well as a M3, some other post here compared track times and they were extremely similar (though it could be power advantage).

If you are going for handling though, go M3. My bestfriend has one and its really superior to the C32, even with sways and coilovers.
