My Custom XM radio Install
It is hooked into the AUX input on my command. I got the custom work done at a Circuit City Roadshop. The mount is custom made out of ABS plastic. It looks seamless. The antenna is in the back window. I get full reception 99% of the time.

Very Cooool!
I'm cheap, so I just opted to get an iPOD for now. I will also try to integrate that into the COMAND in the next week or so.
But my speakers (non-bose) SUCK! Did you upgrade those by chance?

that looks tight, so the circuit city guys dismantled everything and put it back together to get that thing in your ashtray with the wires leading out the back???

how much did they charge you to get this done? i just went to a local car audio place here and they quoted me with $100 for installation...sounds like a bit much to me...

heh, alrighty, well is there any chance you could post pics. of how it is hooked into the AUX input, i wanna do the same thing by using the direct connect rather than go through the FM Modulation route and i would like to see how it looks, is it just snaked into your glovebox from behind or did they tap the line or did they hook it directly into COMAND itself...thanks a bunch
