The new S4

What do you guys thing about the new S4 thats comming out?

http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publi...icle_947.shtml

I think the facts might be wrong on this, but the pics look like the new body style.

I personally hate the new look the older one looked way better.

I went on record in the Audi forum, its straight up fugly! I agree that both the previous models B5/B6 looked better. I don't think the Audi guys are as concerned about the looks though. I think they like that its kind of blah and under the radar.

Yes, 2004 S4 looked the best (except for the roof antenna) and the older 2001 S4 looked much better, than this new one.

The New S4 is so ugly, it looks more like a Dodge/Chrysler (look at new Magnum grille).

Cadillac & the Aztec started this Fugly grille business.

Yeah...ugly as hell!

Some guys on the Audi forum at the time were trying to get their 2004 orders in before the UGLY 2005 rolled in. It looks like a car with a giant over-bite!

That is pathetic. I agree completely with the Chrysler comparison.

I thought the '04 was bland in styling, but I would take it any day
of the week over that.

While my taste on "looks" generally differs from most of this forum (I prefer the look of the new 5 front over the old, the new CLK over the old, etc) I have to say that the old S4 looked much, MUCH better IMO.

I think the new S4 is on fire, The 2004 S4 was a mishap wasnt much diff (Design Wise) then the previous V6 bi-turbo'd models the new has a great interior and performance. If you seen it on the road it would look no wear near what it looks like on pictures. Audi Styling is definetly above cryslers magnum and 300C. Its like every new car we see people say omfg that is so ugly then they see it and they like it IE Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F430, MB CLS.......

i like it too, and being a B5 S4 owner, I will admit this new S4 looks better than the B5 and of course the B6

The interior oozes luxury and quality...compare that to any of the competitors.

I concur. (i've always wanted to say that)

I remember seeing pictures of the "new" A6, I loved the rear shots from altitude because the car looked like it was squatting getting ready to fire out of the hole.

I'm not a big fan of it... I guess it'll take some getting used to. Reminds me of a 300C and Magnum a lot though... I hope they got rid of the damn shark fin antenna. I have no clue as to why anyone would want to have one of those huge things on there (aside from looking like a BMW 7 series).

Also, I thought that the A4 was changed in 2001, only four years and Audi goes to a new bodystyle? Damn, that'll be a drop in the residuals...

Its a wheel with heritage...its good to see a company that doesnt sell out for the sake of flashy new styles. Im sure they will use the avus wheel for years to come...it makes a great winter wheel

Thumbs down

The wheels look boring as hell. The entire exterior of the car is uninspiring.
