Tuning failure and tuning success
Car:2002 C32 AMG
Disclaimer: I don’t like bashing companies but feel this is warranted…
I bought my first tune from OE tuning last time that they had a sale.(300$ ecu tune) My results were very disappointing. After applying the tune with the Mygenius handheld device I felt no discernible difference. I thought to myself maybe it takes driving awhile for it to break in. It never did. I had to lie to myself and believe that I felt ‘something’. I figured maybe a tune really doesn’t do much. I should’ve listened to the reviews because many people stated the same thing that I experienced. I thought ‘Oh well’ and chalked it up to the game. We’ve all wasted money on mods that we either never installed, didn’t fit or damaged the car in some form or another..In fact when I uploaded my original file in order to get the data to send to V-tech for their tune, my car ran the same if not better than it was on OE’s tuned file😕
So then I applied V-tech’s tune. Results= Night and day difference! I am amazed by the results. My car is a lot faster. This is what a tune should feel like.
I really recommend staying away from OE tuning (Maybe their tune works on some cars but not mine) Cough up the extra 200$ and buy the Vtech tune. I apologize for having to bash you guys @ OE tuning but I feel like people deserve to know..

I purchased the tune through VRP.com It’s very simple just go to their website and find the tune option for the c32. They ship the usb-obd2 cables and give you the info to contact Vtech

OE tuning does make good tunes. Do you have any performance mods on your car or is it stock. They are not in the market of pushing for the highest number what they do is improve the curve. there is way more mid range power and torque. If you look they don't claim big HP and Torque gains. I am not affiliated with them in any way just a long time customer and have had their tune on a c32 c55 clk55 and e55.

This is the first we have heard about your gripe and we are always available for support.
We have tuned this platform for many years and what you are claiming does not sound right.
