Dyno'd at 700+whp and ran low 10 sec quarters. Has massive brembo red brake upgrades and brand new coilovers, upgraded control arms, camber and toe upgrades, etc.. as I said over $100k invested. Odometer reads 51K from both original engine and new E55 engine.

I know you've spent ton$ on your very exceptional C55 over the years and will, more than likely at some point in time, regret selling your baby! A couple of questions comes to mind regarding the new California law regarding "after-market ECU tunes" which are now illegal in this crazy state, and the MBH headers, which are also illegal for our cars since no U.S. header manufacturer makes an approved set of headers for Mercedes Benz. The eventual buyer will have to de-tune the car every two years to pass smog in California which will take 1/2 hour or so for the de-tune but a couple of hours of driving at certain speed cycles to re-set the 6 or 7 ECU monitors to pass smog. And lastly, the same "pain-in-the-backside" to uninstall the headers to pass the visual inspection for smog, and then reinstall the headers, too.
The foregoing comments lament the same issues I have every two years when I have to pass smog with my C55, too!
I wish you well with the sale and, hopefully, the eventual buyer will truly appreciate what he's/she's is buying!

You're absolutely right! I was speaking to potential California buyers specifically. I'm sure you'll get your price. Did you consider Bring A Trailer? I'd love to see a bidding war for your car. I'll be watching..........

i am in new zealand, with c55 wagon that, since buying newer amg's, just sits in garage now because too slow.
my mechanic is trying to talk me out of kompressor conversion because of high compressions and wotnot, recommends m113k engine swap instead.
so i am interested in your car, to ship back, where we have no emissions hassles, and take its engine, given our cars are right hand drive.
i am coming to los angeles next month, and would like to come view if still avail.
i will send private message, and maybe we can go from there, thx.
