Average age of AMG drivers
I personally own a C320. Started a poll on this and it's interesting to see the results of owners. I'm going to do the same for each class and see exactly the demographics. Should be interesting.

I'm 23 and "extremely lucky". I like to use the term "extremely good at making money" not lucky. I bought my first Viper at 19 (I'm on my 2nd now) and I'm on my 4th Benz. Mommy and daddy didn't help, unlike many other kiddies here on this site.

Got my first AMG at 22 (C43) and my second AMG (C32) at 26. Plus all the other damn cars i have driven/crashed lol. Have had others like 993 Porsche, two Cobras, shared a 96 GTS viper & SL500 with a business partner
It's an expensive habit

Nothing
I am 36 and got the C32 when I was 35. I am amazed how young you people are in the US. Here by me I am considered lucky to drive an AMG at my age. Most of my friends drive cars half the price of mine.

big 40
40....
noting ages for prior posters.....i'd say there are probably more older aged c32/c55 drivers than they are young uns but the latter are more active on the boards.
i have seen only 2 c32s in tristate area- drivers looked 40ish and 60ish. one c55 sighted recently was driven by a 20-30ish female.

I am further down the old age group
I still consider I am also very lucky because after all these years I finally catching up and be one of you before I die. I am going to tell my jealous friends about this statistics.

I got my C32 when I was 18. I'm 19 now and have no plans on selling the car for atleast another year. My first car was a 1992 GMC Typhoon then a Stillen GTS Silverardo and now my AMG

I think for the older people wondering what the hell is going on with 21 yo's driving C55's, why don't you ask them what's the ratio of the C55 sales price vs. their net worth at the time. Cars are one of those kinds of things that people leverage the hell out of themselves to get something really nice, even if it makes poor long term financial sense. Of course, some people are just lucky and really can reasonably afford a C55.
Most financial advisors would probably tell you it's completely retarded to buy a $50K+ depreciating asset (like a C55) before you've bought, say, a house.
