Hello friends, after doing upgrades on my C32 to gain power, I noticed that my brakes were missing...
I have wanted to do this upgrade for a long time but the truth is that I did not find much complete information on everything that was needed to do this upgrade.
Thanks to a friend from my city who has another C32 also prepared with big brakes, I decided to do it.
I put the list of materials that are needed with their references:
Front calipers: For C63 (W205) or GT AMG (W190), reference A2054216798 and A2054216898
Front disc (FOR CLS): Brembo 360mm x 36mm , reference 09.B747.51
Front pads ( FOR C63): Brembo , reference P 50 154
Sensor for pads: reference A171 540 06 17
Brake fluid: reference A000 989 56 05 11 ,DOT4
Support/spring pads: A000 421 18 00
Calipers adapter with screws: Customized
HEL Braided Brake front and rear: (FOR C32 AMG): reference MER-4-164
I hope this information will serve more people.
Here are the adapters made to measure for the calipers.
When installing the caliper adapters, we had to cut the disc guard down a bit.
And finally, the result.
The change is surprising as well as the new touch with the pedal.
Simply necessary if you have more power.
If anyone is interested in these adapters for the C63 AMG calipers on their w203, contact me privately and I will give you all the information.
Gracias bro !! I've never changed brakes before, but it's really easy and you don't need any special tools, except for the brake fluid purger.
In 4 hours everything was changed.
If you put ET 30 in the front, you can go lower with your suspension.
Dear Capo, if I lower the offset=et , the wheels come out more.
Better for the calipers, but worse for the wheels since they can rub more.
With this configuration there is no friction anywhere.
