I'm new to this forum. Just picked up a new C55, my first MB and my first auto trans, after owning many BMWs. Questions:
1. Can you purchase a clear reflectors to replace the amber reflectors on the front bumpers?

2. Stereo speakers seem to rattle at higher volumes. Has anyone else experienced this on their car?
Thanks.

Welcome! car looks great! I dont think anyone currently offers clear corners for the C55. Just have them painted at a body shop. Here is a pic of mine.

My rear speakers rattle even at moderate volumes, its the speaker grille that's actually rattling. Plan to have them look at it when I bring it in for the 1K check.

If the rattle is coming from the front driver speaker, then it is a known issue w/ W203 cars. The Trunk release button (on the driver door) is what rattles, if you just touch it while the rattling is occuring you'll see it magically dissapear. I had my dealer insulate the button and the problem has gone away.

Now what they actually did to 'insualte' the button I dont know, but everything works and the rattle is gone.

My rear speaker rattles at certain volumes and/or frequencies , it’s can get annoying. I took it for the 1k miles check and they gave me some BS about ordering a new amp. I doubt it will work. If it gets bad, I just put the windows down and listen to that sweet v8 rumble.
I Will keep you guys informed if the amp does anything.

I have the trunk button rattle and the rear speaker rattle that Darba CLDriver are describing. The dealer I bought car from in Santa Monica mentioned replacing the amp too.

Darba, how much longer can you drive with the windows down where you live?

Yesterday was surprisingly good weather nice for driving around but those days are living on borrowed time.
