Just Added to the Stable: New 05 C55!!!
Well, its been a long time coming, but my wife and I finally got the exact car we're looking for. An 05 C55 Brilliant Silver with Premium, Luxury, Navi, CD Changer, Clear Armor. Best thing was - it was a CPO with only 490 miles on it, so we get the 5yr 100k warranty and no gas guzzler/destination fee.
We just brought the car home about 20 minutes ago, and can't wait to drive it around some more. This car is the nicest 4 door sedan I've ever driven - just a great car all around.
A lot of thanks to Autobahn Mercedes in Belmont, CA and Wout, our salesperson. No pressure - great transaction.
Thanks to everyone who has helped provide info - I'm just ecstatic about being amember of the AMG club!
Pictures will be coming as soon as I get the car prepped (my own little detailing regime!)
We just brought the car home about 20 minutes ago, and can't wait to drive it around some more. This car is the nicest 4 door sedan I've ever driven - just a great car all around.

Thai - yeah it was owned by another dealership - not one person in general (Riverside CA I believe). We were skeptical at first, but I inspected the very closely - no records of any problems on the car - and the benefit of 5yr 100k mile warranty was reassuring. Having test driven the same car twice now - there's nothing wrong mechanically with it at least from what I could glean from the test drive. Autobahn bought the car from the other dealer as C55's were hard to find just a few weeks back - so they were hoping to sell at a profit.

We had to drop off the car at the dealership today to get a few things done - clearbra some detailing, etc. The drive is so nice, the passing power is like nothing I've driven that's not modified (my B5 S4 modified was definitely fast) and the ride is stiff but not uncomfortably so (my Audi is very very stiff - due to a stiff coilover and damper setting).
I just love the NAVI and CD player - I could go on and on about this car...
