C55 Glitch? & A Question re: Moonroof
At first I thought I was confusing this feature (rolling up automatically when lifting the window button all the way up) with another car b/c when I was attempting it, it wasn't working.
I swore it did this before so I asked my girlfriend to try her side and her side didn't do it either. Trust me, we were both lifting the window button all the way up to activate the auto feature, not just half way which requires you to continue lifting the button. Now, when I tried her window using my controls - it worked fine. So as I get farther down the road, I continue to fool with the windows and then they all work perfectly all of a sudden!
Her side too. Very strange, maybe just a glitch or a short but I figure I'll bring it up with MB Service and use this as an excuse to have my care inspected for it's 1,000 mile "PR checkup."Also, Question:
Seeing as I'm not the brave one, does anybody know if the moonroof will automatically reverse (while trying to close) if it detects an obstacle in the way (i.e., hand, fingers etc.)? I know the Lexus models do but wasn't sure if this is the case with the C55. Would this work when the windows of the car are rolling up automatically also?
Thanks,
Nick

btw, how do you like your SMART?
btw, how do you like your SMART?
The smart?... I think its the best CITY car... easy to drive, very low fuel consumption (visit gas station every 15 days... thats with daily driving)... AND can practically park anywhere!!! I LOVE IT.
wrt SMART, I'm wondering if you ever drive it on the highway & how safe does it feel in that environment?
PS. wonder if you can shoe-horn a c55's v8 under there, LOL, now THAT would be a sleeper..... HAHA
