honestly, I was trying to find a good word for it, i have just blown off the doors of his M3, it reminded me of civic ex, iam really sad for the guy, he was with his girlfriend .

i dont think M3 can stand with c55 too.

Street racing never tells the whole story. Try racing a few at a track and report back. That would be more interesting.

racing on pavement and racing on the track are two different things... variables are very different..mainly in traction. 2 different animals.... its like comparing street basketball and NBA!!! If you ever played basketball on an urban street as a kid then you'd understand.

beating someone who has his girl with him is always funny, i had a guy in a newer m3 try to race me too, pulled up next to me at a light and started reving up and giving me a look like he knew his shiny red bmw was faster light to light than my primered black Z28, i loved wiping that grin off his face, people always used to test me when i drove that car. usualy the jap cars with trash can exaust tips and type r stickers with no parts to back it up. my benz isn't fast, but i would love to own a benz sports car.

if you can afford SLK55 , GET IT ... macho car! it has a mike tyson punch right in the face of most cars on the road!

The current e46 M3 and C55 are really quite close in a drag race. Most of it's up to the driver & road conditions on who will win. You'd be surprised how many M3 drivers think that they need to shift at 5k where they should be shifting at 8k. On a road course, the M3 is still a bit faster with equal drivers due to better balanced handling, but not much faster. On a road course the C55 has a hard time making use of it's extra power. Without an LSD it can't put the power down early enough coming out of the corner (it just spins the tires).

thanks for the heads up slk55_amg, i figured as much, i wish i could, but it will be a while before i could afford a slk, but iv'e drooled over the slk at the dealership almost every time i have went, wicked car. yours looks way nice, i recently bought a early 90's m3 from a friend of mine, don't know much about it but i got it for next to nothing. i havent went to get it yet, too busy with working on other things. don't plan on keeping it long anyway.

my integra didn't realy start to make good power untill it was reved sky high either rbaker, a good, dependable, cheap, and moderatly fast car, but i hate front wheel drive cars in general.
