2 weeks old and keyed already

I left my car in a parking garage over night the other weekend. Did not want to drink and rive and took a cab home. Anyway someone keyed the passenger side door and left about a 2 foot scratch. So pissed, what the hell is wrong with people! Wonder how much that is going to cost with the new nano paint technology and all.

Sorry to hear about that man, that really sucks! There will always be envious/jealous people who do not like what you have & try to destroy it. I'm sure you can take it to your dealer & they could fix it, it might cost you a few bucks though. Keep us posted!

ouch, sorry dude. My w202 was keyed at work once...damn people.

About the nano paint, from what I hear, it's baked in from factory and cannot be reproduced from bodyshops here, at this time....give you dealer a call and see what they suggest about the repair.

F@#king DC ! This is one dangerous place to have a decent car. Lousy roads, killer traffic, winter, and all the punk-*** haters. Sorry about your car man, that is the kind of **** I lose sleep over.

Bout a month ago I had my passenger side rearview mirror busted and the lowlifes tried to break the other (unsuccesfully) Nothing got stolen just wanted to cause damage. Cost me $ 500 bucks to replace it.

My car was even parked on the street level of a high rise building in front of view of some valet parking. Some pimped out SUV next to me got a window and rearview mirror broken also.

Ive seen several cars that have gotten this type of damage by these loosers.

Really sorry to hear about that. I am reminded of some commercial where the guy returns to his POS car on the street and pulls a car cover off to reveal his beautiful new car. I wonder where they sell those.

Thats what sucks about having nice cars..
I even hate taking it to the movies, or events..
So I drive my C230K Sedan..
The only prob is I look like every onther clown with a C CLass...
So you don't get the pimp status, but you get a piece of mind.

Sorry to hear this.
As I heard, nano technology will not be applied for repaintings due to the technology is only available at the factory which makes the cars.

No worried, with today advanced technology in car paint , I am sure MB or any repair shop can match 99.9% repaint to orginal haardly noticeble.

As a physician, I must give you a pat on the back for not Drinking & Driving... As a med student, I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing the sad aftermath of DUI related accidents while doing an A&E rotation... Unlike loved ones, the paint can be replaced....
Eric....

ps.. If you caught the vandal in the act, they may have ended up in the ER... :p

Yes props also, But that does suck and unfourtunetly you wont have the nano paint on that side anymore. But you wont tell the difference only that the paint will be softer and will be more prone to swirls.

LANCE - Still got your Malibu?
VINCENT - You know what some f--ker did to it the other day?
LANCE - What?
VINCENT - F--kin' keyed it.
LANCE - Oh man, that's f--ked up.
VINCENT - Tell me about it. I had the goddamn thing in storage three years. It's out five f--kin' days -- five days, and some d--kless piece of sh-t f--ks with it.
LANCE - They should be f--kin' killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.
VINCENT - I just wish I caught 'em doin' it, ya know? Oh man, I'd give anything to catch 'em doin' it. It'd have been worth his doin' it, if I coulda just caught 'em, you know what I mean?
LANCE - It's chicken sh-t. You don't f--k another man's vehicle.

honestly, believe me or not, what the hack is nano technology - pretty much typical MB sales talking. I am sure they have a new way to paint, but don't you see now every body uses the word nano technology to imply new tech. I found my MB front has small cracks done by flying sands/stones after one week I got the car. Of course , you can say, it could be worse if not with nano technoogy

To be honest with you, keying someone AMGs could get shot in some countries in Asia. e.g. Taipei , Tokyo too many big trio bosses. The kids are just so stupid , do they have any idea if they ever do this in Asia, they will be forced to eat dogshhhit before they are killed.
