Which grill looks better to you?

I'm thinking of upgrading to the autowerks CL grill and wanted to get your opinion on which you think looks best.... I'm torn between the two.. I think the original grill makes the car look more elegant, but the CL grill gives it a more sporty look...

It is no better or worse , it is differnet, that's all.
I still think the so-called 'CL grill star' is just too big for the C grill.
The original CLK grill star looks more appropriate but unfortunately, the CLK grill does not fit to the C55 AMG.

cnt

I know that the CL grille was being fitted on the C55s, but I didn't know that the star was larger than that of the CLK star. By the way, the 2nd photo is that of a black CLK500.. I assumed that a CL-grilled C55 would look identical to a CLK500/55 from the front....

Just so we are all on the same page >>>>>

The W209 Grille does in fact fit the C55. It requres the change of the C55 hood latch to a W209 hood latch and the addition of the W209 top grill brace (bridge). Thats how the kit comes from Autowerks and it works like a dream. VERY easy install.

Hope this helps

Oh yeah>>>>my vote is for the CLK grille

I think the clk grill works well with the c55 bcs its actually an original grill and the c55 has the same front as the clk, so why not add the grill?

that picture with the grill looks like a CLK500. Either way, the CLK grill is HOT! Go with the CLK grill. More of a sportier look.

CLK Grill looks better IMO. However the C55 grill (Minus the hood ornament) looks more distinctive.

The original grill. The CLK grill will make your car look too much like a CLK or other C-classes with CL-grills.

I like them both, but I prefer the original, I like the large chrome slat at the top, it looks like something is missing on the top of the CLK version.

i think the clk grill gets noticed more than the c55's stock because the sport sedans are so similar.

WOW !! That's the 'effect' I wanted !! A CLK Grill is more fit than CL Grill
The C55 deserves a CLK grill because the whole of its fornt end is based on CLK.

Taken the fact that more parts will be replaced, I am not sure.........

Actually, I could not tell the differnces except I always think that a CL grill star look bigger in some photos I had seen, can anyone point out the differences in outlooks of the two grills?

cheers
