I'd really like on of those in my car:

Actually it's made for turbo cars, but I'm pretty sure you can hook it up with the supercharger somehow. I'm not looking to increase boost pressure.. I'd rather just have it as a cool looking device in the ash-tray spot (dunno what to call it, but it's the place where silvac32 has his boost gauges).

What do you think?

Whatever it does, I'm sure if you integrate it neatly and make it look OEM-esqe, it'll be far from rice.

From a website:

The Super AVC-R is the premium closed-loop electronic boost controller on the market. The AVC-R allows flexible control over virtually every aspect of boost control and adds new innovative functions such as injector pulse monitoring and gear specific boost control. Some key functions include: RPM-based boost and solenoid duty cycle control, scramble boost, self learning mode, 2D ghost map trace mode, analog display mode, real time replay and peak hold data modes. The AVC-R utilizes an ultra-fast microprocessor and a high quality solenoid valve to control boost. The result is ultra-fast response and accurate, stable boost control.

Total rice to put a boost controller in a c32 imho. If you like the look just get the S-AFC and you can actually use it to tweak your fuel if you don't mind wiring it in to your car.

Jason: He said that he'd try to get it working with his supercharger. I don't think it's rice if what he's going for is something functional.

You can't use a BC on a SC'ed motor...changing boost is a mechanical funtion of the pulley unlike a turbo. That's why I suggested the fuel controller which could very well be functional (S-AFC).

Nothing wrong with a little rice. My gf cooked me some with dinner last night. I actually enjoyed it! Rice away!

okay.. well I'm not mechanic.. but how could SilvaC32 install a boost gauge then? I dont want to change the boost or anything.. For me, it's just something neat to look at.

sorry, but I think its completely rice and a waste of money if its just something to look at. it doesn't even look good and doesn't match the rest of the interior. definately skip IMO
