I have asked a similar question before about mounting sat antennas, but when i went to the dealer they said the only way to mount the sat antenna is on the trunk lid, no way to put it in the spoiler or in the car, was this a mistake?

In my C43 I had the XM antenna mounted on the back deck (inside) and it worked great 95% id the time. My wife has the same antenna mounted outside and hers works 99% of the time.
I will probably choose to go inside with it on my new C32.
Terk makes a good small antenna for XM.

Dude I had the dealer install the Sirrius and I bought a small antenna and mounted it next to the GPS antenna. It's about 1.5 inches square and plugged right in to one of the two inputs that go to the stupid antenna that mounts on your trunk. Whoever came up with that trunk mounted antenna should be shot at dawn. On the MB cars with fiberglass trunk lids the antenna is OEM mounted in the trunk. Good luck.

i have my sirius antena mounted on the roof. its small and black and you don't really notice it on the black paint. the guy who put it on is sort of slow i'd guess because he put it in the front right corner but its not to bad.
